From "Jaws", Chief Brody to Quint, after first seeing the shark: "You're gonna need a bigger boat..."

From "True Lies", Arnold Schwartzneggar, apologetically, to Jamie Lee Curtis when she asks if he has killed people: "Yeah, but they were all BAD!"

I go to use that line a few years ago. Intel didn't want to replace a defective Pentium for me. When asked why I needed a less flawed chip, I said, "I work in nuclear weapons safety; do you feel lucky, punk?" I got the chip.

I don't know if it qualifies as a most memorable ever, but yesterday, watching the Errol Flynn "Adventures of Robin Hood" for probably the 20th time, my ear caught a line I'd never paid attention to before: one of the Sheriff of Nottingham's men complaining about being harassed by the Merry Men--"We can't even put a hot poker in the eye of a tax dodge without getting an arrow in the throat. It's an abomination."

I'm not sure about this being Most Memorable but it is one of my favorites. :)

Rhett to Scarlett:

"No, I don't think I will kiss you. Although you need kissing badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed, and often, and by someone who knows how."

Vincent: And you know what they call a... a... a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?

Jules: They don't call it a Quarter Pounder with cheese?

Vincent: No man, they got the metric system. They wouldn't know what the *$#^ a Quarter Pounder is.

Jules: Then what do they call it?

Vincent: They call it a "Royale" with cheese.

Jules: A "Royale" with cheese! What do they call a Big Mac?

Vincent: A Big Mac's a Big Mac, but they call it "le Big-Mac".

Jules: "Le Big-Mac"! Ha ha ha ha! What do they call a Whopper?

Vincent: I dunno, I didn't go into Burger King.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

--Jules Winfield (Sam Jackson), Pulp Fiction
