Reverend Terry Burke said, "We are pleased to accept the gift of the United Nations flag from the Pond Project. We are proud to be providing a sanctuary for the flag."

count me among those who would be "uncomfortable" flying the UN flag ANYWHERE on U.S. Soil..

It is one thing to cooperate with an organzation in order to accomplish a specific purpose.. It is a FAR different matter to wave the flag that represents the organization and EVERYTHING it stands for...

And we ALL know what the UN stands for, and it is simply not consistent with the "conservative" world view..

God Bless America!,

David

"...made some people uncomfortable..."

At last...political correctness in the RIGHT way! Way to go, ES! Proud of you!

Thanks for the flag, David! Stay safe!

"He said he admires the United Nations' interest in human rights and actions as a peace keeping force."

If this idiot really believes that then he should fly the American flag, as it is the ONLY symbol in the world for liberty and freedom. The UN is repressive. What a moron!

Great, the UN flag should not be flown. The new movie "Bethind Enemy Lines" does a great job of showing the UN at it's finest! UN=Communism
