I don't see this product impacting my life.

only if you can drop a V8 in it, chop the top, slap on some flamethrowers and pearl paint

I have a pickup truck. My wife has a car. I don't see this product impacting my life.

Maybe we can use it for off road activities?

Drudge had the story wriiten and posted for about two minutes at this location: http://www.drudgereport.com/matt91j.htm

I was reading it when it automatically refreshed on me and disappeared. Anybody know how to pull it out of my cache? It said Time followed the inventor around for 3 months and has a big story. $100 million in development costs. Thing uses a bunch of gyros to keep balance - impossible to fall off. Best used for city transit.

A completely useless piece of garbage. Doomed to fail before it even gets started.

If they show it on ABC's GMA, It won't be seen by many. Shoulda picked FoxNews.

Just from what I read, it probably has a horizontal and vertical flywheel for upright stability, and tracks or multiple wheels for climbing uneven surfaces. Takes alot of energy to keep that going for a reasonable time. Maybe thats what the Stirling patent is for. The Stirling engine would cause the most interest for me.

Now those whose only exercise is walking back and forth to their office need not do even that. Sounds like this baby could take them up the stairs, down halls and onto elevators, and right to their office door.

Great way for Americans to become softer than ever. I'll walk, thanks.

If it's going to debut on Good Morning America, it's irrelevant.

I saw those (rolling shoes) in a Big 5 store last week. They didn't have my size (13) so I couldn't try them out. They have a button on the side that lowers the wheels when you want to roll.
