All we ask is 17 cents a day* to get the truth out to America!

Is 17 cents a day* too much to ask to get the truth out to America?

*17 cents a day is a $5/month pledge.

17 cents per day to keep Free Republic strong.

Ed, I'm sure that each week all of us send out in our trash enough bottles and soft drink cans that could easily bring in 17 cents a day for those who can't afford to pledge $5/month to keep Free Republic strong and viable.

Freepers can take their weekly refundable bottles and cans to store that pays for these items and send that money each week or monthly.

That's a great idea, Grampa Dave!

Here's another suggestion from Freeper Exit148:

To: WIMom

For those of you who want to donate during the fundraisers, but find it difficult to come up with a goodly sum when you need it yourself -- just for daily living, ----- here is an easy way to give, but not have it feel as tho you are ignoring the basic needs.

Just save some change each week. At the end of each week, just lighten the amount of change in your pocket, and save it for the fundraiser. After 3 months, those few quarters, nickles, dimes and pennies can add up for a donation, yet not be missed that much in the daily run of things.

Just try it! You'll be amazed!

Surely my friend. Here is a bump.

I just doubled my monthly to become a $/Day donor!

My wife was joking about my massive social security raise. Then, she said knowing me, that Free Republic would get it. Actually I needed a little more. As usual she was correct.
