This just sounds like a way to get around government contracting laws.
CUT OUR @#)(@#$) TAXES!!!!

RE: My last post.
If I am correct FL has no income taxes. FL FReepers is this right?
If that is true, then my rant is at the fedgov about cutting taxes.
To: Looking4Truth
Florida has no personal state income tax. It does have a corporate income tax. The Florida Constitution bars income taxes on individuals.

In all, Bush is hoping that 28,000 jobs could be created by the speedup. government does not create jobs.
government takes money in the form of taxes and doles it out as it pleases.
This government stimulus way of thinking is why we're paying over 50% of our income in taxes.

Good point
All corporations pass their corporate taxes along to the consumer in the form of higher prices.

FYI, FL is one of the most corporate-friendly states in this nation in terms of taxes, and is seeking to be known as "entrepreneur heaven." So, before folks like you out in Ohio, and others who don't even live in FL, complain about FL taxes, try getting some facts! :)

Is it tacky to point out that this Bush stimulus package is all spending?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, since this bill concerns a change in procedures designed to speed up projects starting, and FL just made major cuts to its state budget.
