Well I don't know about others, but I am an addict. I have been haunting this site for years and I cannot get away....I have found many fantastic things here and I have watched as the enemies have grown as the freepers succeed in rooting out the fraud and abuse that grows in this country like a wild cancer... These are the times that will try our souls. Our fight is not with our enemies, but with ourselves....The enemy is relentless, and funded by our own tax dollars...We must find the strength to press on as it is our duty to God, country, and our very own children....If we fold now, how can I ever explain to my indentured servant children how we gave up the fight when the going got tough.....tell me how to send money, I am overdue....

I, for one, want it to remain. There is something that I have noticed since my short time as a member here; people like to come on here and pick certain threads and start in whining and griping. I have had experience with this as all of you have had. I also have my own community on MSN and have experienced it firsthand. Many people don't get it through their heads that the nature of the Internet is the same as the nature of television; you don't like what you see, you are not forced to remain view it. If people don't like this site, there are other sites to go to. If people don't like certain threads, no one is forced to read them. People need to grow up.

I agree with what some of the others have advocated; a recurring monthly posting fee. In that many of us spend more hours here, as opposed to sitting in front of the television, a small monthly fee to cover our "entertainment" is certainly not antithetical to the purpose of the site.

Many of us pay $40.00- $50.00 or more to have a cable attached to our television so we may be exposed to 25 minutes of commercials per hour. What would be the harm in a $5.00 or more per month posting fee for those of us who use the resources and bandwidth?

Now, if you could prevent @home from shutting down and the loss of my cable connection...:)

Joined during the attempted coup in Nov. Lurked on and off before that. Came over pretty much fulltime to this site from The Other Site with the last wave of Ldot refugees. We washed up on your shores during a freepathon and have been generous. I'll link this thread to the FReeople so they know. Last freepathon someone came up with the idea of donating a dollar a day. I will up my 50$ quarterly donation to that level at the start of the next freepathon.

If anything there needs to be more topically related and 'sticky' sites out there. The sheeple need educating. If it weren't for this site and a few others, a lot of people (including myself) would be missing out on a lot of VERY important information.
