Why does this guy's name always bring to mind a machine full of air bubbles?

you certainly turned dumb quick when harrowup dropped oldtimer/insider references

Please email me at aratorfr@yahoo.com. It's important for you to be plugged into the email FReeper grapevine, as FReepers who ask excellent and probing questions have been known to just suddenly disappear (and not of their own choosing). If I have your email addy, at least I can throw you a lifeline should you ever need it and save you from FReeper oblivion.

Is that the absolute HEIGHT of self-fawning or what?

You'd think they would, wouldn't you? I mean, as soon as Jim said he would let them back on, here they were

It's called lack of self-control and at the same time, faulting the provider of the service of which they cannot control themselves. In other words, a play for attention...

Post # 1969 (1969!!! That was some fun year for me. I was 19 years old, owned a VW bug and worked as a bouncer in the Hampton Bays. Free booze and braods!!!)

"What's with the never ending Blame Clinton for everything crowd? Also, what kind of Conservative news forum goes rah, rah, kill 'em all, and agrees to every bit of restrictive legislation passed or considered. Get a grip people.'

Let me tell you something Cataclysmic Kansan, it's independent thoughts such as yours that attract hordes of Republican harpies. They're quick with the abuse button and in time you'll probably be banished to the outermost ring of the internet.

If you want to stay safe, remember these axioms; Libertarians aren't wacky because they espouse open borders and free dope. Likewise, Republicans aren't week-kneed jellyfish...

Also known as attempting to get the record set straight. You see, when one is banned and questions are asked about the banned user, sometimes the replies are laughably in error. Some attempts were made to straighten out the errors today, or did you miss that?

Once you begin silencing your opposition there is little left to debate.

Hence, the dull as dust moonscape FR has become, except for this thread, that is. LOL.

With every post you puke, you prove anew JimRob's wisdom in giving you the bum's rush out the door.

What a deal, huh? We get mentioned in an article that was posted on Free Republic. We then get invited back to FR by the OWNER of the site.

Somehow, this gets translated into a ploy for attention. ROFL!!

One could not miss that, as you and others have so pointedly remarked throughout this thread on what is wrong with FR. We'll leave it to others to remark on what is right about Free Republic.

In time, people will have their full measure of people who are claiming to be concerned about FR, when I suspect they just want attention on FR.

I think their loss was THE BIG LOSS to this forum. And it was the underlying reason's for their going that was the big loss.

Well, I miss them, too (especially Mojo), and said so at the time of their departure; but there was more involved in it than your Exodus 101 suggests (maybe you've expanded it as I write). Jim made a fool of himself re Bush, granted, but that was just a part of a bundle of gripes (and to me Jim is just another poster, and his comments did not influence the site in any practical way: it was solid for Bush). The "crisis" involved problems larger than the election; in fact, although The Case of IHC is pretty silly, the issue is the same: decorum. At the time of the tempest in the FR teapot Jim's notions du jour co-incided with a series of racist and anti-homosexual rants; Rivero held forth at length; A+Bert was embraced. Flame wars and general disarray.

So "good" people left, but the valid gripes they had (their "big reasons" for the "big loss") have been pretty much dealt with.

Big deal.

Whatever the height of my self-fawning, it hardly compares to the fawning attentions you have given me today. How many consecutive posts must a female FReeper make to a FReeper star such as myself before she becomes his groupie?

LOL. Now, THAT is the hieght of insufferable self-fawning (and self-parody). LOL.

Okay Steve, here is your big chance to finally nail JR & FR. I'm sure you have some stong rebuttals in your archives. Let's see some proof to back up your dozens of accusations at other sites. I stated my criticisms here some time ago. Got balls?

That's my question, too. The answer is, clearly, no. I'd love to meet this punk, and watch him fall into a quivering fearful mass of shaking cowardice. It's clear he hasn't the courage of a 9 year old boy.

Yes, it does, when one poster says they have no intention of posting further. Of course, that was 40+ posts ago.

If that is not a play for attention and lack of self-control, then there is something amiss.
