With all the evidence of fraud and corruption that has come up since then... What evidence of fraud and corruption?

And how did they know Oswald would need a job at the Depository before Kennedy's people knew they would be driving by it?

Fonzi was lead cia investigator I'll take his word before any others. He was there and has the evidence so if you wish to follow the warren cover up story go ahead, the rest of us will follow the investigative aproach until the E Howard Hunt team is prosecuted OPS4

What did you use for a clock? You mean to tell me that you can't get 2 shots in 8.3 seconds and the longest shot is 88 yards? Remember, the first shot of the three starts the clock. In simplist words: First shot starts the clock, then recoil, then load, fire, recoil, load, fire in 8.3 seconds.

Let me guess - - you believe the "magic bullet" theory, right?
LOFL !!!

"the lead was not measured"
It was and it totaled in at 161 grains just like the remaining round[s] in the enbloc clip.
To: Shooter 2.5
But you're still left with the magic bullet. That's the problem. You have one bullet that missed and was found at the scene. You have the last bullet that was the fatal head shot. So that leaves the magic bullet. It had to go into Kennedy's back traveling from the 6th floor, then make a turn upwards and exit Kennedy's neck, then it had to pass into Connolly's wrist, finally end up in Connolly's thigh (I don't know which wrist and which thigh, sorry), and then finally it has to emerge from Connolly's thigh in pristine condition on a Parkland stretcher. Maybe he could get the shots off in the time allotted, but how do you get a bullet to do all those amazing feats? I also don't know if any bony injuries occurred in either Kennedy or Connolly with the magic bullet, but if there were (and I seem to remember Connnolly's wrist being fractured, but not sure) you don't get bullets hitting bone and not being deformed, any more than you have bullets falling out of people on hospital stretchers, and oh yes, and bullets do tend to travel in straight lines.

You believe that a full metal jacketed bullet going around 2000 feet per second won't go through 8 inches of flesh and will somehow disappear? Who believes in magic bullets now?

See post #170.
The bullet traveled 2000 fps to hit the president 5 inches below the Mastoid Process which is the boney thing behind your ear, [there's a picture of the hole and the ruler], it hit no bones and exited out his neck clipping his tie[photos of the tie]. It traveled 28 inches away[trajectory report]to hit Connelly near the right armpit[Doctor's report] clipping his rib[Doctor's report]and keyholed out his chest leaving a 2 inch by 1/2 inch wound[Doctor's report]. At this point it had only hit one bone and is now flying sideways when it hit the wrist [3/4 inch wound] and buries itself in a shallow wound[very little soft tissue damage,Doctor's report] in the thigh leaving an amount of lead in the thigh. The amount of lead in the wrist and the bullet add up to the original weight of 161 grains which is the same amount of the bullets from the Western ammunition Company. The only bone it hit was the rib bone and no bones were reported hit at the wrist{Doctor's report]. Cloth from his clothing was found in his wrist. Look at a sideways picture of the bullet and it's flattened with lead missing out of the exposed lead base.

With each passing death, we learn more about how "camelot" was fabricated.
When Jackie died, the beans were spilled how she put the notion of "what we had, ever so briefly, was Camelot" to a few journalists.
When JFKJR died, it was leaked how he was rehearsed in his salute and that his signal to salute as his dad's coffin approached was his mother's release of his hand.
There are many papers (and audio tapes) that are sealed at JFK's library, maybe some of us will live long enough to learn their contents.

How do you know that was the first time there was a government coverup? Perhaps there were more that were earlier... perhaps there were fewer than people have bought into.

Don't know. I think I wrote - the first major cover-up. I think Pearl compromised the whole concept of investigations with integrity. Some people asked questions. Congress had two inqueries about it. But no one wanted to kick over the log. I see the same techniques at work under the Clintons. Grrr. Yip. But no hot pursuit of the facts. Ditto JFK.

Get a clue.

There is no such thing as a "magic bullet theory". That very name is a piece of propaganda to make what happened seem ridiculous. Well, here's a challenge. You tell us why both victims couldn't have been hit with the same bullet. Let's see how ridiculous it is.

" But no hot pursuit of the facts. Ditto JFK."
You don't know where to look. If you've been looking for facts, you should be able to tell me how many people were interviewed on where the shots came from and how many people thought they came from a specific spot. You should be able to find a photograph of Kennedy's back wound. If you can't do something as easy as that, you haven't been doing a hot pursuit of the facts.
To: 2 Kool 2 Be 4-Gotten
The bullet did travel in a straight line. Nobody ever claimed otherwise. It was not pristine either. Both of your claims are myth. They are propaganda points that were created to make people doubt the truth.
Aren't you getting this yet? The things you've heard and read about this case are wrong! The conspiracy books are full of lies. You can go check the evidence for yourself. If you do you can see this.

Whether or not the route was changed to take the Kennedy motorcade past the TSD building, a more interesting question is how and why Oswald wound up working in a place which put him so fortuitously in a perfect position to shoot JFK. It is known that Oswald did not seek out that job or location himself: it was his and Marina's "friend" and contact Ruth Paine who "arranged" for the job for Oswald, supposedly having heard from someone else about an "opening" there. I've always said that if one could answer some important questions about who Ruth Paine was, and what her connections were, it would go a long way toward answering some important questions about the assassination. And now I notice today that the current issue of the New Yorker has an article by Thomas Mallon called "Lee, Marina, and Ruth Paine". I can't wait to read it.

This is my last post on this thread. The government did not pursue the facts. That is what I wrote about. I give up.
