Can we give it up already? He died 38 years ago. Let's get on with life.

Besides, the real killers got into their spaceships and flew back home, chuckling how this is going to mess with our heads for years to come.

That article is so filled with BS I can't believe you spent the time to post it. The pictures of the rifle were taken as the rifle was being removed from the sixth floor. More pictures of the rifle were taken as it was transported. More pictures of the rifle were taken as the police and investigators were displaying it. What more do you need?

The Warrren Commision mambers had close ties to the government? It was a government investigation.

It would be better to post the entire Warren Commission findings that this BS.

Sorry, if the only book you have read on the subject is Posner's then you are not qualified to make such a judgement. Posner has been debunked by quite a few people who know a lot more than he.

Attempts at debunking Posner have been made. They mostly fail and they don't address the central issues. For the most part, the Posner debunkers have been debunked.

The lead was measured and it was found to be the correct weight according to the Winchester-Western company.

incidentally, the x-rays of Connely's thigh and wrist show more lead residue than can be accounted for by the magic bullet...

That is not true.

I can't refute the material I have read with your assertions. It is true that the best way to deal with it is to have the actual documents.

All of my assertions are backed up by the evidence. Just ask. You can start here

One eyewitness was asked why she didn't come forward for years. She said, "I didn't want to die of suicide, a shotgun blast to the back of my head, if you know what I mean."

Which one? Some "eyewitnesses" are known to have made up things to make themselves part of the story.

Oswald's relationship with the intelligence community is interesting by itself. Kennedy's relationship to the Mob is now well known.

Oswald had no relationship with the intelligence community. That is a manufactured story by the conspiracy people.

So is his father's working with the Mob. Then there is the Mob girlfriend - Exner. And the Mob boss who died as this was coming out. Like I said, too many conflicts in the official story.

First, "conflicts" aren't evidence. Second, almost all of these things that are supposed conflicts, aren't. They are made up. That's my point. Stop thinking that all the stuff you've heard or read about these conflicts is actually true. Most of it isn't.

"The Men Who Killed Kennedy" is notoriously speculative and innaccurate.

Not to mention that the program didn't understand simple trajectories. As long as the detractors of the Warren Commission never even bother to read it, we're going to arguing this for a long time.

. "I particularly liked the parts about the police radio stating that the initial shots came from the overpass,"

I guess you never realized that there were two police officers ON the overpass, one on each side accompanied by a group of railroad workers from the yard watching the procession. Not to mentioned that no trajectory could have hit the President at that angle. The limo had one of those new fangled inventions called a windshield.

As I recall it was the "babuska lady."

I find the topic interesting but not one I want to debate all day.

"The emergency room doctor who treated JFK died about a week ago.--No, it wasn't under suspicious circumstances. He just got old and died."

Considering his book had just been republished in October of 2001, his death could be considered suspicious. Amazon's review:

Editorial Reviews Book Description

The doctors who tried to save President John F. Kennedy at Parkland Hospital in November of 1963 agreed--either out of respect or fear--not to publish what they had seen, heard, and felt. Then in 1990, one of the Dallas surgeons who worked on JFK in Trauma Room One, Dr. Charles Crenshaw, decided after much deliberation that the American people ought to know the truth.

"The wounds to Kennedy’s head and throat that I examined were caused by bullets that struck him from the front, not the back, as the public has been led to believe," says Crenshaw. When the first edition of this book was published in 1992, under the title JFK: Conspiracy of Silence, Crenshaw revealed what he never had to opportunity to tell the Warren Commission. In the aftermath, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) called Crenshaw’s book "a fabrication." But JAMA’s claim did not hold up in court and Crenshaw subsequently prevailed in a defamation suit against JAMA. In the process, a number of new medical disclosures and discoveries have emerged on the startling medical cover-up of the JFK assassination.

Dr. Charles Crenshaw, decided after much deliberation that the American people ought to know the truth. How many times have we heard this recently? There's a pattern.

Here is a good example of the misinformation widely believed about this case.

It's nice to be able to see some contemporaneous writing about all the lying crap that was going on back then in order to frame Oswald. I particularly liked the parts about the police radio stating that the initial shots came from the overpass,

I have the recordings. I can assure you that they say no such thing.

the gun identity switch,

There is no switch.

the paraffin test,

Paraffin tests are not certain. Did you know that they had an agent fire the same gun three times and did a paraffin test on him and it came up negative too?

and the release of Oswald's description prior to the cop being killed.

From an eyewitness that saw him shooting from the book depository. That's evidence for his guilt, not for some kind of frame.

As I recall it was the "babuska lady."

That would be Beverly Oliver. She is one of the "witnesses" that have come forward with wild stories. But there is no proof that she really is the "babushka lady" in the film. She is just some woman that says she is and tries to make something of it. She isn't the only one. There is Gordon Arnold, who also has a sinister story to tell, even though the films show he wasn't there. There is Jean Hill, who was there, but has told various stories over the years, some in direct contradiction to known facts. The list goes on. The evidence proves this case, not witnesses, real or imagined.

What kind of logic is that? The book has been out for a long time. Even if there was something new in the republished version, it is still out. Him being dead changes nothing.

The reality is that Dr. Crenshaw is just one more in a line of people who have tried to make something off their connection to this case, real or imagined. He lied in his book. He did not see what he wrote. He was not one of the doctors that treated Kennedy. The doctors that were there do not back him up.

Can anyone please explain to me the justification for sealing the evidence for 75 years?
(especially in the execution of a public official!)
