This would be shocking save for the fact I read in the Old Testament that they were step-brothers.

As I told Sabramerican...I think all this genetic evidence is highly speculative...including that linking some of the Jewish faith to the twelve tribes. I don't think genetics can go back 4000 years.

I've not the expertise to opine on the "genetics" of either the 12 tribes or that thread (some months ago) wherein it looked as though we were heading toward proving a single Adam and Eve.

Like you, I prefer hard science and my suspicions are always raised anymore by the theory masquerading as hard science which tends to hook believers into a possible sucker punch to come.
