PETA Calls for 'Compassionate' ThanksgivingMy version of a 'Compassionate' Thanksgiving is not slamming a PETA member's head into a concrete sidewalk.
Often, lengthwise, and repeatedly.

Tofurky ® is a pre-cooked vegetarian feast designed to be the delicious centerpiece of your holiday or everyday meal. Made from a revolutionary tofu-wheat protein blend, Tofurky is known for its incredible, turkey-like texture and flavor. If I served that crap to my family, I'd end up on a plate with an apple in my mouth.

I'll be sure to eat a turkey after reading this crap.
And if you don't like the way turkeys are treated at farms......get one hunting!!!!. Wild Turkey is GOOD!

Damn! That stuff looks nasty.
I prefer the real thing.

LOL. If I did that, I'd be ducking flying Guinness bottles, glasses, frying pans, and everything imaginable. Then I'll be told to go get my shotgun, kill a turkey, and not to come back without one.

I love crispy brown turkey skin and juicy white meat. That's why I always brine my turkey.

Then I'll be told to go get my shotgun, kill a turkey, and not to come back without one.I went turkey hunting once. I got up at 4:30 in the morning, checked my weapon, got into my camos, and made out for where I suspected I'd find some turkeys.
Sure enough, I saw one. BLAM! went my shotgun, and I got him. There! There's another! BLAM! Got him too! And another! BLAM!!!
And everyone is screaming, and ducking into the aisles, shopping carts flying all over the place.....

We're not all carnivores here on FR: my family is having guests over for the holidays. We're eating tofu pot pie; whoever wants something dead to eat, they're invited to bring their own...the Kid.

Farm bred ones that run loose will attack you. I took one of my nephews to a "petting zoo", and the bloody turkey (bird at the zoo, not my nephew) kept trying to eat my camera strap. Then it decided to light into my leg. I have some sympathy for Bush43 (see the "Caption This" thread with W being assaulted by a turkey). Maybe it thought I was the competition ...

VEGETERIAN = Ancient word meaning "Lousy Hunter".
Notice how the PETA idiots have to try something 'shocking' just to get attention? Plastic lettuce bikinis, what a freakin' joke!

Vegetarian means respecting life...all life...the Kid.

Wild Turkey is GOOD! Yes, but it keeps evaporating when I put it in the oven. So now i just drink it raw and room temp.

Eating meat is an instinct. You want to live on straw and berries be my guest. But I will continue to eat massive amounts of meat.
My uncle is a strict vegitarian. Probably actually a vegan. When we have steaks he will have a grilled mushroom. He claims "it tastes like a steak." No, it doesn't. We always tell him his food tastes like cardboard.
He loves pizza too, though with no cheese. We always make seperate food for him when family and friends get together. Well, one time we were gathering at my house for drinks and food and stuff. I decided to make some pizzas for snacks. For his I took a piece of cardboard, cut out a pizza size circle and topped it like a pizza. Everyone thought it was funny when they realized what it was

Vegetarian means respecting life...all life...the Kid. Explain for us then PETA's and other lefty vegitarian types support for abortion. Or are they not "real" vegetarians?
To: Lazamataz
LOL. Me, too. I would rather starve than eat that garbage.
To: wbill
PETA...they started as good and now they are fanatical...
Substitute a turkey with a PETA...lol (just joking)
