A Just Cause, Not a Just War

It's not that Zinn has a different point of view. Lots of people do. It's that Zinn supports the enemies of the United States and that he has worked professionally to undermine the United States and its values. He is a traitor.

What I can't understand is why you'd defend Zinn. Are you related to him or one of his students? Or, Heaven forefend, are you Zinn?

Here, here. Bad ideas must be fought with better ideas. That is why Mcgovern lost. It is plain stupid to attack people as traitors when we disagree with them. Let's reserve those words for people like the anthrax killers - IF - they turn out to be Americans. It makes me mad to see so many patriotic Americans who risked everything attacked as traitors because they have different and wrong-headed ideas. How does THAT defend out Constitution.

Note to Gimlet: Honest liberals (of the Alan Colmes sector) have opinions. Leftists (of the Hillary sector) like this scumbag don't just have opinions. They gear their lives and their talents toward the degradation of our society and the propagation of a dangerous agenda.

If they ever have their way (God forbid) they will be shi*ing upon us all. They don't need to have their intellectual mush bought in to by suckers who think they're just stating and "opinion". They need to be slapped down hard by those of us who know better, or at least should know better.

This is a stupid article. First thing to spot that he is a bleeding heart liberal mouthpiece is the home for the elderly. Believe me, (and I lived nearby Afghanistan) they don't have 'old age' homes in Afghanistan. If you are old and not with your family you are dead. Then the children bit. Oh, bleeding heads. Give me a break. They kill our innocent people and make thousands of children orphans and we should stop the bombing because some children are hurt.

The Taliban people don't care about putting children in harms way, but we should worry. Well, I don't. Because I know that we will have thousands and thousands of dead if we do not bomb until we get rid of these terrorists. The Afghani people have done nothing to get rid of the terrorists all these years. If some of their people now die, it is a shame--but it is their own fault. We will not be stopped by this kind of stupidity. Are our lives more precious?

Are the lives of our children more precious? YES! Because we don't raise our children to hate and to kill. Because we only want freedom and not to subjugate other people. We are precious and our dreams are precious. We want to create. We don't want to destroy. We want to soar to the heights of achievement. We don't want to go backwards. And most important--our country is precious.
