I had to go back and look. She died on Oct. 30

I think she died on Oct. 31. Her illness is definitely too early to be explained by an Oct. 31 mailing.

Just a comment. I have a few friends who work for the PO, some at the counter, some "out back" and on routes. I go to different post offices almost every day in my area. Some of the clerks are wearing gloves and others aren't.

Although it may make you a little nervous/apprehensive about seeing them in gloves, most are REALLY getting tired of the jokes and comments they hear from nearly every other customer. A lot are really worried that the first wave of anthrax in the mail was just a test run by terrorists to see what methods worked best and that a much larger scale second wave of attacks is in the offing.....so a suggestion....just try to say as little as possible about any safety precautions they may be using, because they have heard just about every "funny" comment that anyone might think of, hundreds of times.
