Good! I'm sorry I posted in the breaking news. I only heard of his brother being arrested. When I did a search here nothing came up for his name. Thanks for letting me know.

Brilliant!
BTW....I guess 'oma' didn't stop to think that any of us were smart enough to want such horrible things to be done to this idiot AFTER proving him to be guilty.
God bless the true patriot.

"BTW....I guess 'oma' didn't stop to think that any of us were smart enough to want such horrible things to be done to this idiot AFTER proving him to be guilty."I just think it is ironic that he calls others "morons". In oma's world, due process would mean that the terrorists get 3 meals a day, cable TV, work-out gym, College tuition and degrees, lots of sadistic homosexual pleasure...etc.

I'm just sad that FReepers are so quick to call each other names and make big leaps, as if our flip comments define us. They don't, you know. Sometimes for the sake of wit or out of frustration or anger, we all say things that are a little over the top of what we believe when we slow down and think while we're writing.
I'm sorry that some people did something to my country that is SO BAD that I could tear their throats out with my teeth. And honestly, if I caught them in the act, I might well do just that, if I had no better weapon. There isn't much due process in my sentiment. Just cold, wretched, useless anger.
THEY CHANGED ME WHEN THEY DID THIS TO US. THEY LOOKED IN THE FACE OF CHILDREN LIKE MINE AND THEY SCREAMED "GET IN THE BACK OF THE PLANE!" AND THEY CUT PEOPLE'S THROATS IN FRONT OF THEM, AND THEN SMASHED AND BURNED THEIR LITTLE BODIES UP IN AN OFFICE BUILDING TURNED CREMATORIUM.
It was an act of war on my nation, and I am full of regretable feelings about how they ought to be treated. I'm a woman, and supposedly (to hear the "no women in the military" FReepers tell it) I lack sufficient aggression to kill to defend my country. B******t!!! Believe me, nothing would make me happier than to dump a few full clips into the twitching bleeding body of a bona fide terrorist. I never felt this way before. I don't like it. And frankly, if you men don't get off your PC duffs and start protecting our nation a little more competantly, you'll prove that women MUST take up arms too.
Yeah, fundamentally, you might say I'm having a little problem being reasonable about all this. But I'm not calling any other conservative names here or breaking forum rules. Count the posts on this thread that ought to have a moderator delete them for being abusive, profane, off topic. This one probably merits deletion for violence, but then again, I could plead self defense and get off light, I think.
Calming down now.
Yes. I have to struggle a little to remember that these demons might have rights. My civilized veneer has been well-scuffed, gentlemen, by the fact that I am living ON the front lines of a brand new, most vicious kind of war. My kids are on the front line, people. Let's get off the ball and treat these terrorists as enemies (not just criminals.) I am sorry that due process is the first thing anybody thinks when he sees the face of one our government has identified as one of our enemies; however, I *am* glad someone is stopping to think of it at all. That means we're still us. Somewhere under all this anger, even I know that we don't torture POWs. But you know, we have always shot them when they tried to escape.

"Don't let emotion blind you to the most significant danger you face right now...."Well said from a guy who has no problem spewing out name calling to people on this message board. Your actions are hypocritical.

Dammit, we have the government we elected. And it's a better government than we deserve. Periodically we get a chance to "throw the rascals out" and we even manage it sometimes. We have the chance to choose who will make the decisions that by their very nature require some secrecy, either because it involves an individual's privacy rights or a matter of national security. Many of the current issues facing us involve BOTH. We didn't elect GWB thinking, "Oh, we might be ATTACKED, we'd better get the guy who will pick the best cabinet and support the military." Lucky us, we GOT that candidate. Now maybe he wasn't the candidate you wanted to see in office. He's THERE. You can waste endless energy fearing him, or you can have a little patience and let him do his job. Yeah, some civil rights are gonna get hurt for a little while. I have confidence that W will choose the right judiciary nominees, the right cabinet members, and the right political appointees to give us the resilience we'll need to get back halfway to normal. I am starting to think, Tex-oma, that you don't understand who the enemy is. It isn't us. Got it yet? The real enemy is coming from outside, and using the very openness you're so protective of to kill our people and cripple our economy. Quit shooting at our side! Our government, FBI, CIA and local law enforcement have enough troubles without people like you picking this particular time to kick them. There will plenty of time to analyze the game after it's over.
There's something fundamental that you ain't gettin', so here is:
CHEMISTCAT'S FIRST CONSERVATIVE PICTURE BOOK PRIMER,
dedicated to Tex-Oma with love. =^-.-^=
THE ENEMY
NOT THE ENEMY
THE FIRST BATTLEGROUND OF WAR2K
NOT A BATTLEGROUND FOR FREEPERS TO FIGHT EACH OTHER
