"Despite the growing indications that extremist elements " I wish we would get off this extremist nonsense. There is no "moderate" or "extreme muslims". All Islam is beligerent. Read the Koran Qu'ran.. Whatever it is called.

Te decision to mail antrax from Pakistan is an in your face means of showing that the anthrax is a terror weapon and that the anthrax letters in the USA are not the work of some right wing group and or a Ted Kazinsky style unibomber. Of course the FBI will disclaim any such conclusion.
Stay well - stay safe - Stay armed - Yorktown

Altho my sympathy is with India, this post is likely propaganda from India to turn Americans away from Pakistan.....
Unfortunately right now, America needs Pakistan...this is the rock and a hard place situation.

Nah, couldn't be from Pakistan, this is the work of right wingers. The FBI says so, it therefore must be true because they say it is. Has to be right wingers...has to be!
To: rmvh
Bullshiite! I heard this same report on FOX this morning. If the anthrax strains are identical, that will prove that this IS NOT the work of domestic American terrorists.

The suspicion is turning.
Bush is not going to lead the world to Iraq and say, "Guilty!"
The case will be made one crumb at a time, as with this little nugget.
Patience, my friend, and all will be revealed...

It doesn't matter if this is a propaganda or not but America needs to turn away from Pakistan before it becomes the graveyard for Americans. These muslims wants to rule the world in the name of Allah. All non-islam believers have to die as per their Jihad's rule.

It would be more accurate to point the finger at Pakistani extremists, rather than at the nation of Pakistan. Why? Because Pakistani businesses, including their largest native language newspaper, the Daily Jang (published in Karachi), have also been targeted with anthrax laden letters. See the following post, among others:
Pakistan Businesses Receive Anthrax-Tainted Letters [NYT]

If the Pak anthrax is of the same variety as that sent to Daschle and co., and it is likely that it is, then that might indicate an abundant supply. A poster yesterday was wondering why the big anthrax attack hadn't happened, some respondents suggested it might be because of a limited supply. This would indicate otherwise. It might behoove us to keep our eyes open for the post Thanksgiving shopping season. A bit of anthrax released in our packed malls would be disastrous.

"It would be more accurate to point the finger at Pakistani extremists, rather than at the nation of Pakistan." Exactly! Pakistan is composed of a variety of Muslims and extremists from other countries as well as their own. The source most likely will turn out to be not Pakistani, but just in Pakistan.

The muslim terrorist must have been pissed off that they weren't getting the credit so they decided to rectify the problem.

You'll understand if I have trouble beleving the Times of India about this. While I love them Hindus to bits, and would side with them against the Pak's in a heartbeat, this smacks of propeganda, pure and simple....

Because Pakistani businesses, including their largest native language newspaper, the Daily Jang (published in Karachi), have also been targeted with anthrax laden letters. We all know extremists cannot breed if not armed and funded properly. Pakistani extremists is an answer from Pakistan government in support of Taleban to stamped the extreme islamic law in muslim nations or perhaps in the world world who knows.
It's a biggest threat from these extremists.
On December 8, 1941, President Franklin Roosevelt addressed the nation on "America's Answers to Japan's Challenge." His words ring true nearly six decades later: "When we resort to force, as now we must, we are determined that this force shall be directed toward ultimate good as well against immediate evil. We Americans are not destroyers - we are builders... . We are going to win the war and we are going to win the peace that follows."
Our immediate goal is to bring Bin Laden and Taleban to justice. Once this is over the real war will start to root out the terrorism from other states sponsoring them.
