Maybe you're just not able to quite GET it.
Cooper went on this tear over the UFO Cult AFTER that group laughed him out of the room for trying to say that excrement was really Shinola.
In other words, after the UFO believers (Note: NOT Lear, who tried to keep him out of trouble, but the twits who follow Lear) dumped him because he'd proven himself to be a BS artist, he flipped 180 degrees. Guess he had issues with being rejected.

You are an uninformed, ignorant moron if you think Bill Cooper had anything in common with the Cortez Cop Killers.
You don't have a clue about the facts of this case yet you assume you know everything about it.
Don't you even have the decency to learn the facts before you start dancing on this man's grave?

"For more than 3 1/2 years, he had been holed up in his house in Eagar, threatening to kill police officers and federal agents," said Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center. "He was talked about as a guy who talked crazy and made a lot of threats. The reality is that people like him are frequently exceedingly dangerous." Oh, great...the Morris "Sleaze" Dees contingent weighs in once again.
Talk about inciting paranoia. The SPLC, an influential group of smear artists, worked back in 1999 WITH the Feds hoping to arouse governmental and public fear against militia groups and Christians with their disgusting "Project Megiddo", frantically trying to make a case to bring public sentiment against people who viewed Y2K as some form of "end-of-the-world" vision.
They established so-called "evidence" that these people who basically just wanted big government and intruders to leave them the hell alone were all set to carry out terrorist acts against America in order to bring about their vision of Armageddon.
It didn't happen, of course...neither the end of the world...NOR some kind of militia terrorist activity. I'm sure that was a real blow to those sons-of-witches at the SPLC, who have been trying for quite some time now to instill terror of the Second Amendment in the hearts of American citizens.
If we're assessing credibility...better take a close look at the SPLC socialist goon squad. With their ability to get the Feds working with them on anti-Constitutional crapaganda, they're in better position to bring our country under the boot of tyranny than Bill Cooper ever was of inciting riots and violence. And boy, do they ever want to subterfuge that bit of information.
(And have you noticed yet that no-one identified the name of the "militia" which Bill Cooper supposedly "led"?)

Good reply. Love ya.
Down with the SPLC!

"But that rag has no credibility."
...and you do?
To: Mighty Mouse
I doubt it, or they'd have to kill a whole lot of others...To my knowledge, Bill did not accuse the Feds, just asked some pertinent questions. Many others have done much more than that.

Ideologies are all humanist in origin. They are the constructs of a merely human intellect. In addition, they run on agendas rather than on Reality. That makes them inherently without credibility.

CJ, the hopelessly self important Orwellian.
So you don't have an agenda?
To: Aerial
Dear Fred, You are promoting the spin.
Good job.
Oh please. Not this again...

Well, at least one, the fellow on the radio is asking if anyone has seen the other dog please call.

I spent many evenings listening to Bill Cooper's broadcasts on WBCQ, 7.415 mhz, shortwave. He loved this country. He loved and defended the constitution. ...and, he loved his dogs. One of the most moving broadcasts I ever heard was where he talked about his dog 'Crusher'. Crusher was 'family' for Bill. The news of Bill's death breaks my heart. And the death of his beloved 'Crusher' is equally almost too much to bear. In retrospect, 'Crusher' is probably better off being with Bill. And, perhaps it is fitting that 'Crusher' departed this life with Bill. William Cooper was no angel--he was just a human being with the same faults we all have. But I believe Bill Cooper was real man. A real patriot. And someone who enlighted me in many ways. God rest his soul...and God bless Crusher.

"Why didn't they just leave him alone?"Because he was right....as in correct.

rFom what I understand, and I knew the man, listened to his Radio program for a few years, and spent a week with him in Az, in addition to reading his book, he changed his mind on the Alien thing when he got more complete information. Nothing certifiable there, assuming he is truthful about his motives.
Haven't you ever changed your mind, especially when you got more facts?

"William Cooper may be one of America's greatest heroes and this story may be the biggest story in the history of the world." said Mills Crenshaw, KTALK, Salt Lake City. This guy is a bit over-the-top, don't you think?
