Thank you so much for telling us what you found out. I hope and pray they let him be free and get his TJ back in his loving arms.

I can easily believe the fact that he can not live indoors. It is too bad that someone hasn't offered him a little piece of land to stay on. I still think that the best thing Solano Beach could be would be to make history and do something special like give him a job watching over that flag.

The city code enforcer just doesn't like knowing that a "scraggly bum" is a bigger man than he is. A crack whore is a better person that any city code enforcer. At least she serves a legimitate purpose.

There are VA hospitals and homes he could go back to, if he wanted to. You are a fool, and even that may be bragging on you. As a 100% service-connected disabled vet,I'm eligible for those VA hospitals and homes, and I tell you right now I would kill myself before I would knowlingly allow myself to be placed in either to live out my life. I am not a criminal, and I will NOT voluntarily allow myself to be put in a position where I have to live like one. Since I have no family and live alone,I have given serious thought to this as I grow older. This isn't idle speculation for me.

Thank You!!!
You said everything my father would have, and I agree 100%!

This story just plain pisses me off.
One would expect this kind of treatment from places like Berkley or that sort.
Once our veterans are forgotten or cast aside, the nation is lost, and that is scary because it has already happened many years ago.

Thanks SSgt Mike, that means a lot to me for you to say that.

Bump.
I'll take 'TJ' over 'CJ' any day of the week!
I hope something good happens for this troubled vet.

I make a point of going up to all service men and women and thanking them for serving our country. I have gotten some confused and shocked looks from them. Doesn't stop me. I want them to know that I for one appreciate everything they do. I then ask them if they have served in any of the wars, and thank them again for serving. It makes me feel good and I hope it helps them to know that there is at least one person out there that cares. I know freepers do, but there are so many who just don't give a d#$m. Sometimes it leaves me choked up, but I not going to stop doing it.
