Number one, nobody can confirm or deny this. Number two, Delta Force conducts very dangerous operations and only a fool would expect zero casualties. This is what is called war. In war, you take casualties.

Ok, now I think I understand what you were talking about.

In war, you take casualties. That is true. However, what troubles me about this report is the wording Ambush which indicates the enemy had advance intelligence that the raid was going to take place. This being the case, we have a really serious problem with security, traitors or both. Encountering heavy resistence is one thing, but an ambush is something else, it means our troops were set up. How many Afghani's do we have in our intelligence group that planed this attack, that are spies?

It's a failed strategy because there is no tactical air support. That's it. These guys have to set up a forward command, fire mortars and artillery and advance after the enemies positions have been neutralized. I thought throwing battle green rangers in against an experienced enemy on their turf was a recipe for failure. These a-holes are accomplished snipers and fighters.
Eventually we will just make a black streaked pit out of Kandahar and Kabul. Should have been done 48 hours after the Taleban said no to turning over Bin Laden. We will still probably end up doing this.

How true. It is hard going from a peace time mentality to a wartime mentality.

Yes. And I doubt they were all in the house together. This article is just plain dumb. How could they all come out of the house and get surprised?

That's not true. In "Delta Force," all of Chuck Norris' buddies made it out of Beiruit alive.
