As long as "justice" means death, I'm on board. If it means some stupid international court proceding conducted by third world apes in robes from the UN, all who bitterly oppose capital punishment and barely support life imprisonment, count me out. Not only that, count me as a sworn enemy of such a body. Terrorist thug filth are for killing, not housing free for life all warm and comfy with 3 squares, medical care, room and board, and rights and amenities guarnateed by a global legal authority. Shit, I ain't even got that. Besides, for these dirtbags, such a life in prison is much better than what they have on the outside as free "men". Life in prison is still life, something their murdered victims will never have again. Screw 'em. Kill 'em all, no exceptions.

I assume that bin Laden has access to the web, even though he lives in Afghanistan. (which is to say, ‘The Dark Ages, Part II’)

And, if he goes to the web, he goes to places like FR, or his people do, to gain information.

Posters like this one have to bother him, on some level.

The article appeared 10/12. COPYRIGHTED Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Author Craig Gilbert.

Excerpts: "But in concert with the (Judiciary Cttee)'s top Democrat, Conyers, Sensen.. had scaled back the expanded police and surveillance powers sought by the ...Administration. Sensenbrenner...was blunt about it, calling ...Ashcroft's proposal "a law enforcement wish-list" that the Senate "rubber-stamped." ....the Ashcroft plan [was] a bit of a grab..."I've always had a healthy suspicion of granting the police too much power," [said Sensenbrenner.]

...many lawmakers were outraged after closed negotiations between House leaders, Sensen..and the Admin. "The attorney General was very unhappy with [Judiciary's] bill" He described his relations with Justice as "very strained."

Sense...was forced to accept a package much closer to the Senate bill.

(End of story excerpts.)

One can tell that this bill was more than a little controversial, as Bob Barr came to the Senate to pump Sensenbrenner's FIRST solution--along with Conyers and some others. They LOST.

I have the article on a Winchester disk (mlm. format) but don't know how to move it to FreeRepublic--and the copyright issue is out there, too.
