Note that Saddam released a press statement today that he would not allow United Nations weapons inspectors back in Iraq, thumbing his nose at GW. He has to know his card is about to be turned up, so he has to know that other troubles are brewing that will keep GW busy. I agree that WWIII looks like it's coming. Six or seven clean, low yield theater nukes along the Taliban defensive line ought to quickly end that problem, and free us up to quickly deal with Iraq. The anthrax attack justifies this, and I am glad to hear a few congressmen raising this idea. Alternatively, let's give Baghdad three days warning, then destroy it with the smallest, cleanest weapon we have. Then let's submit a list of the terrorists we want to the Muslim world and a list of the cities that will follow in Baghdad's fate if these terrorists are not handed over to us. Again, the anthrax attack on us justifies such measures. Of course, only cities in countries that have previously sponsored terrorists would be included. If we do not show such resolve, our future will be one of continuous terror such as Israel has endured, except that we are subject to even worse terror in that biological, chemical and nuclear weapons can be used on us since we are not intermingled with the Palestinians. So far, we have shown a noticeable lack of resolve, merely creating more and more replacements for every terrorist we arrest or kill. We can't even name our operations without fear of offending somebody. It's the politically correct war, and it will kill us.
