I understand.
Question #1 - Yes or No - is it possible ....
Anything is possible. Not only that, COSCO has warehouses in Atlanta, Baltimore, Charleston, Houston, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Houston, San Francisco, Seattle, Secaucus, Toronto, Vancouver where China already/is presently/or will in the future - bring weapons, munitions, arms and short-range missiles and/or medium-range missiles (or missile parts) into the US and Canada. Yes this is possible.
COSCO may have advanced its "plan for conquest" by actually hiring Chinese personnel in the US (unlike H&W because Panama immigration laws have cumbersome hiring quotas):
Huang Dalei | General Manager, M.I.S. | ext 8854 |
Qui Jinguang | General Manager of Planning & Development | ext 8993 |
Liu La Chun | Deputy General Manager, Customer Service | ext 8987 |
Zhang Xiaosheng | General Manager, Equipment Control | ext 8872 |
Capt. Wang Yong | General Manager, Marine Operations | ext 8885 |
Question #2 - Yes or No, is it possible that at some point in the future, Communist China might instruct ...
It is possible that at some point in the future Red China may instruct its citizens to go to the moon if the Beijung mandarins want so. Whether they can carry out the order is another thing. The traversing of U.S. ships through the Panama Canal is decided by Panamanian workers. And Panama receives a lot of money in Canal tolls and supplies purchased by US ships to give up that money becaue of mandarin whim. Panamanians did not spend decades whining about the Canal to give it up to somebody else.
Question #3 - Yes or No, is it possible ...
Anything is possible, it is possible that possible that Communist China is already or will in the future - store short-range and medium-range missiles in containers in the holds of COSCO ships and have any such ships - come and go - into the COSCO warehouses in Atlanta, Baltimore, Charleston, Houston, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Houston, San Francisco, Seattle, Secaucus, Toronto, and Vancouver - and or - leave any such ships with missile parts (or biological agents) - docked for extended periods of time - in those US and Canada facilities. Using the Canal was not necessary because once their goodies are unloaded in California, 18-wheeler trucks can take them unchecked all the way to Secaucus. And with that unchecked border at parallel 48, all the way to Canada. Yes this is also possible.

The link is in Java so you will need Netscape 3 or higher.
Actually, another poster, j_accuse, came up with this unique title - but alas, j_accuse - left in disgrace, some time ago.

The title was made to encourage debate on sightings of Chicom soldiers in the Canal, with their "conquest of the Isthmus" being imminent but actual sightings remain have not exceeded the UFO sightings at Roswell in the last 2 years. In the meantime, the number of US retirees and expats in the Ishtmus has gone up to 18,000 and a US port company in the Canal has been expanded to be the largest container port in the Caribbean.
If you call having a mayor computer malfunction a disgrace, yes it was. I lost most of my email folders and now the freerepublic.com Archive search is disabled (plus that 50 postings-a-page feature slows down searches) so I m trying to catch up with all the fan mail from Chief Kommisar ChaseR. Anyways, he has been real helpful by keeping up the thread alive. Thanks for the concern.
1. The threads indicate that those who have visited here or have lived here are delusional and are ridiculed, as they know not about which they speak. The kitten, Trident/Delta, and j_accuse (and maybe others whose comments I may have skipped over; therefore, I apologize) have given accurate eyewitness reports. ...
2. Those of you who have never been to Panama, think about the following: It struck me that those arguing that the Chinese are the puppeteers in Panama, calling all the shots about the canal if you will, are suffering from a classic case of brain washing over the years. I know this will never be accepted among a lot of my fellow freepers despite the fact few of you have been to Panama. But just think about it and reread what your fellow freepers whom I mentioned above have had to say.

I would not call it ridicule or an infringment of the "NO personal attacks" prohibition of the site, more like healthy exchange of ideas - which would be even healthier with updated, post-1999 accounts from eyewitnesses to the current situation in Panama.
Those that argue that Panama is a country where the Chicoms call the shots obviously have never been to Panama (or gone beyond a refrigerated hotel or cruise ship to talk to everyday Panamanians over a sancocho soup). The Chicoms do not even have there an embassy to spy under immunity, like they do in Washington. Recycling Bill Gertz (another one who has not ventured beyond the air-conditioned tourist route) pre-1999 articles is fine to raise awareness threads but to understand the reality or not of the Chicom threat - and most importantly, ways to counter it taking into consideration actual and updated circumstances.
Another example is the Congressman who held a Cantonese-language Panamanian weekly during 2000 hearings as "EVIDENCE" of the "Chinese invasion" - never mind that Panama has had Cantonese communities as old as those in California and New York (before Mao Tse Tung was even born) or that MANDARIN is the language of the Chicoms.
US businesses and investment keep pouring into Panama - they run cellular telephone, electricity, the only railroad and many other companies, including the largest port in the Panama Canal. If the Chicoms want to use economics to wage war, then bringing US investment and presence into Panama is the most effective way to counter any possible Chicom presence. The administration that gave the HIT port concession lost the 1994 election and it is urgent to engage the current administration through investment and development if there is a conspiracy by the Chicoms to take over Panama.
With Fort Davis and Fort Gulick now under Panamanian control, Fort Sherman, site of the Jungle Operations Training Center, and the Galeta Island Communications Facility remain the last U.S. military facilities in the Atlantic Community. -- U.S. Army, South, Public Affairs Office"
Thanks Phil...what're they referring to as the "Atlantic Community"?

The Atlantic Community is not some affiliate of the Trilateral Commission or NATO. For those have not been to Panama more than a month, the Canal Zone was divided into 2 sections: Atlantic (facing the Caribbean) and Pacific and each one had a network of residents and related services called Atlantic and Pacific Communities.
Fort Gulick is the site of a Spanish hotel.
Well, at least they will look different through the scope.
