I guess you can take the girl out of Hanoi, but you can't take Hanoi out of the girl.

Maybe Jesus told her to take a hike. She got bummed out when she found out that all-night coke binges and extreme drinking are not conducive to getting up and becoming coherent before church.

Yes, but ultimately, Christ is where he always is, and it is Fonda who took the hike.

Yes, but thank God, He doesn't require us to clean up our act before we come to Him!

Sorry Jane, its like the mob. Once you join, you can't unjoin. He is going to turn you into the image of His son whether you go along with it or not. It is just much more pleasant if you don't resist. Ask Jonah.

Right on. The strikethrough portion of my reply was the first thing that came to mind, but I knew that couldn't be true.

She emphasized the need to “try to understand the underlying causes of the crime.”

Yo, Jane, We DO understand WHY they did this and WHY we must PUNISH them. Poor Jane, her soul is in question and so is her mind.

In Good Humor From A Patriot:

> > What to do if you happen upon a peace rally by stupid, naive hemp-shirt-wearing idiots, to teach them why force is needed:

> 1) approach dumb rich ignorant person talking about "peace" and saying there should be "no retaliation"

> 2) have brief conversation, ask if military force is appropriate

> 3) when he says "No," ask, "Why not?"

> 4) when he says, "Because that would just cause more innocent deaths, > which would be awful, and we should not cause more violence"

> 5) punch him in the face . . . hard

> 6) when he gets up to punch you back, point out that it would be a > mistake, and contrary to his values ~ to punch you ~ because he would be > just increasing the violence.

> 7) when he agrees that he has pledged not to commit violence, punch him > in the face again . . . harder this time.

> 8) repeat steps 2 through 8 until he understands that sometimes it is > necessary to punch back.

I got this in an email today and it made me think of Jane. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
