I absolutely loved the counter-demonstration against that rowdy bunch of protesters. I appears that the protesters were totally knocked out of whack by this group of Freepers with extreme effectiveness. :-)

My name is Chuck Ricca and I drove down from New Jersey to be at this rally. My brother in law Bob Gillespie and I were honored to share this day with all of the freepers. We did a great job teaming up with the DC police to get the most out of our message. Looks like the Washington Post on line caught some of us in their pictorial today. wish I lived closer. You know, the sad part is, these yahoos have the right to do this, and it has to be that way if we want to live in a free country. The really bad part is that these idiots are vigilant and militant, where a lot of normal Americans aren't anymore. And they are never portrayed as the anti-capitalist, communists, anarchists, wackos, etc. that they are. They are always portrayed as simple people who want to protest against war, while the true patriots and protectors of our constitutional way of life are given little airtime, little press coverage, and are misquoted or represented falsely in that coverage. The price of a free society is eternal vigilance, and most of America has forgotten that. While the dog sleeps fat, happy and well fed, the rats will carry off his dish.
