(poke poke poke) :o)
Laz FYI Exlax is NOT a recreational pharmaceutical, so I would reconsider the "doubling up" thing
If you don't know what it is, you've clearly done it, and OFTEN!
"Depends" on your definition of fun.
Pun intended.
But I can't take all the credit for most of the work is done by HTML::TreeBuilder. All I did was write a little function to traverse the tree and deal with the nodes (keep, toss, etc.)
The bulk of the work was coming up with a list of allowable tags/attributes. It's a hash (tag) of hashes (attributes). The values can be regular scalars (an action code) or code refs to dynamically take action or even change the parameter's value.

Please remind me to never party with you, ok?
If you want to try it, copy the sample style sheet I posted above and change the color, then upload it. I will do this and experiment. But this will only effect how I see things. So if I highlight in light yellow only I will see it. And others who like my style sheet and upload it for their own use. If you come up with a really snazzy style sheet, and don't mind sharing, I will make it the default style sheet. I'm probably not knowledgeable enough to do this |

Oh, my goodness! Do you THINK so? LOL!
That answers one of the two questions I was going to ask, hopefully the other one hasn't been flogged to death already. Will it at some point be possible for the server side software to convert line break and paragraph breaks automatically, so that we can just hit Enter rather than having to manually tag each break?
I was going to ask if that was something we could implement in our style sheets, but seeing that they're client side only I guess it's not possible.
One other suggestion, if it's something you can implement easily, would be to add a replacement for blockquote -- something easier to type than the word. Is it possible to create a "virtual tag", maybe something like "bq" -- that your server side filter would expand to "blockquote"?
I know that last one sounds trite, but I think it would be one of those minor niceties with the potential to make at least one part of life easier for lots of folks, and it would also quite likely pretty up the place as more folks used the tag.
Yeah, bummer that it took so long to get it to the disabled state. :)
(My eyes are already starting to not hurt...)
What is a reply spoof? Before (when the reply text wasn't indented as it is today) you could, within your own reply, fake a reply from someone else. Sort of like this:
Start of your post
A fake post
The rest of your post
Now it would look like this:
Start of your post
A fake post
The rest of your post
.. and thus be easier to spot.
