They protest at the gates of our plant regularly. We give them water and the police stop traffic so they don't get hit by cars. They're sort of like cows.I actually laughed out loud at that. I might make it my .sig for awhile. :-)

A group of professors and academics in Norway has told Bush that a show of restraint would make him worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize. Slimey bastards are trying to buy off our President! Try giving your peace prize to someone who merits it, like the leader of some enlightened and peace-loving ME regime. No hororable person would ever want his name associated with it.

They never waver in their commitment to pacifism and they have that right. Unfortunately it is up to the rest of us to protect them. A number of Quakers, though pacifist, have served bravely under fire in the armed forces as medics.

The first time I read about this protest, it was an anti-capitalist group and their website and march was called 'Beat Bush Back'. They have since renamed their website and their protest, their purpose remains the same. They have also deleted the list of supporters from the site. It included Ramsey Clark and former NY mayor, Dinkins, along with such groups as, Effeminate Mehn (sic)for Equality.
HERE is a link to the Peace March site.

And Helen Armstrong of Coventry said she doesn't want to see the nation's flag taken over by the 'militarists.' "That flag is also my flag," she said. "It's the flag of pacifists and people who speak out. It is patriotic to be a pacifist.""You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
--- Winston Churchill, 1938

Dear Little utahan
Let me explain away your confusion ... stay with me now ... this won't be hard, and I promise it won't hurt a bit. I promise.
In post # 4 (which has seemed to have lost its highlighted areas ... BTW, we're trying to resolve this with Mudboy) I was quoting from an article that I had posted earlier.
So since the highlighting is gone, some of my emphasis is gone also. But the areas of emphasis were put in italics ... those are the letters that tilt to the right ... see? ----> tilting right
I made a faux pas, utahan, when I did not use quotes on each paragraph. Perhaps that omission caused your confusion, for which I apologize. This was my fault and added to your ataxia.
Are you with me so far? I not, hit pause, and then hit rewind, and go back to play. Now, if you are still with me, let's go to part deux in your little snarl, utahan ...
At the end of my post is "From: Peace Activists Urge Justice With Restraint " ... herein lies the other rub.
The url did not post and I did not notice it ... once again, mea culpa, for adding to your clutter. This is how it should have looked: Peace Activists Urge Justice with Restraint
If things had worked on my part as planned, you would not be so muddled. A second mea culpa.
How we doing so far? Still with me? OK, good.
Now, let's persue this little hang up with the spelling of usama v. osama . While usama is not the preferred spelling around these parts ... manners are preferred.
So I suggest that the next time you want to play with the big dogs ... you bring a bigger bone.
Class is dismissed .. that wasn't so bad, now was it?

Dear little stupid 2trievers; It is just as I expected , you have just crawled out of the bottom of the dung heap of human excrement. Please keep reading if you can take it. The excuses you are using are as STUPID AS YOU ARE. No one of your ILK, has every saved their country from being conquered , or any other country for that matter. Like I said if you read a little more instead of flapping your pacifist (liberal) tongue , you would find out that a lots of people in Afghanistan us the name Usama (India Times). But I will have to believe you are to stupid to find Afganhistan through the Times of India. But of course that is asking to much from people of your ILK, Since it seems you have nothing better to do then to make stupid lies , to real heros , trying to save their Country. If you wish to answer this please do , for I have a lot more that I wish to tell you STUPID idiots. But I am getting sick to my stomach thinking how STUPID your ILK is. AND you and your ILK should be sent to the Taliban to convince Them how smart you are.

Dearest utahan
I'm not sure what has your Slinky in a kink, but if you knew me, the only thing Quaker in my household is in a round blue box, in the pantry. The FReepers I associate with are Patriots of the first order. So my "ILK" stand proud and tall ... shoulder to shoulder behind our troops and the President in the fight ahead. We'd like you to join us, or you be your own tiny, ineffectual army.
By alienating folks around here, utahan, I venture to guess you're off to a pretty rocky start. Take a deep breath, reread the posts and begin to think, at least to the level of your competence.
We're not above flaming, and I feel pulled down to your level by saying this ... but if your metal acuteness was gasoline, you wouldn't run a pissant's Yugo two laps around a Cheerio.
I would much prefer having you stand with us, than churning out this vitriol. Eagles Up!

These jokers inability to spell has confused them again, they spell peace-piece. Otherwise they would be back at their pad Bogieing a roach.
To: 2Trievers
I take exception. I am the proud owner of a 1988 Yugo, and every time I fill it with petrol I double it's value. Not a bad investment!
Sincerely,
ILK

To: 2Trievers, utahan
Now, listen boys..... it appears to me that you both have misunderstood each other.... utahan, you misunderstood the post by 2Trievers - he is a good guy, not a liberal (I have read many of his posts!) - and 2, you "corrected" utahan and he is correct in his comments about the "common name" - please don't let our common goal end up in shreds because of our own misunderstandings..... Now, sit down on this porch step and have a popcycle..... (I'm a Mom, I can do this all day long..... :)
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
Can I have one of those popsycles too? LOL
The funny thing is the name spelling thing was not the first name. I had referred to "bin", which utahan thought was "ben". Ben Franklin would not be happy.
I agree though, both these boys should stop acting so childish and be more mature. Like me, for instance.

# 39: It has been spelled both ways in the papers and on television as well- either way you spell it, it means sonovabitch, in every language on the planet.
To: Cagey
Cagey, I apologize but it is too darn cold up here in the NE today for a popcicle..... but I will put it on my calendar to buy you one the first warm day..... (where in NJ are you located? Ever listen to Denis and Judy?)
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
I'm in Ocean county, Whyis. About 40 miles north of Atlantic City. I don't get that radio show. Is that out of the Philly area?
