Coincidence? Islamic Calendar Depicts Civilian Jet Hitting Manhattan for September

In Eastern Orthodoxy, which started in the Middle East, the Church year starts Sept.1.

Lots of calendars are printed in the middle of the year for schools. They are designed to cover the schoold year, running from one summer to the next summber.

Which, of course, makes this calendar even worse. Not only was it given to children, but it was specificly designed to be given out in schools.

Hmmm...wonder if this the plane for a 747 that was incoming to NYC area
on an international flight on Sept. 11, 2001...but was turned away when the
US basically refused incoming international jets.

I doubt many people knew. There was a lot of risk if too many people knew.

That's what I would have assumed.
But Micheal Medved related this week on his show that his brother's business
acquaintance who lived in NYC indirectly had a warning on the evening of Sept. 10.
This fellow (a Jewish businessman) and his family lived next door to a Muslim family.
In typically American fashion, the children of both families played peaceably for months.
The evening of Sept. 10, one of the Jewish businessman's kids told his father to not go
to work tomorrow because he could be killed...according to one of their Muslim play-mates.

The fellow went to work, but survived the ordeal (can't remember if Medved said the guy
actually worked in one of the towers)...got home, called the FBI and found out that home of their
neighbors was stripped bare.

That story sounds almost incredible...but Medved puts such a premium on his own
veracity and factual accuracy...I just about have to believe it happened.
But we'll find out as things go along....

That story is apt and timely. It is also a recasting of an old folk tale, almost word for word.

the islamic calendar is in a state of flux, not fixed like ours. It changes from year to year. Their new year started in april. As they could not predict the future, they were not able to put the calendar out till may.

Could this be some type of art to memorialize one or more of the victims of Flight 800? The bright white spot in the upper left might not represent the sun, but the original explosion of Flight 800. The white dotted line follows the plane down to the water, signifying its path after the explosion. Note the flames in the center “fuel tank” area.

I can see posters getting all upset about the calendar, but not after reading what it actually says.
