This is elementary common sense. If you hamper the war effort of one side you automatically help out that of the other. Nor is there any real way of remaining outside such a war as the present one. In practice, 'he that is not with me is against me.'
Replace pro-facist with pro-Arab Mass Murderers and you have Orwell updated to describe Clymers like Barbara Lee and Ramsey Clark and their hatred of America/Americans and their love of America's Enemy's, like the Arab Mass Murderers of 9/11!

Suicide bombers attack the Cole. Klinton's term is all but up. There is no response, and there are no anti-war protests.
Suicide bombers on three commercial airliners obliterate the World Trade Center and seriously damage the Pentagon. Heroic passengers on a fourth airliner sacrifice their own lives to thwart efforts by hijackers. Nearly 7,000 completely innocent civilian men, women, and children from nearly 80 countries are killed; most are incinerated, their particulate matter "remains" mixed with the cloud of dust and debris that clogged the streets of lower Manhattan and the gapping maw at the Foggy Bottom. President Bush does not launch an immediate retaliatory strike but instead moves "slowly" and deliberately to "bring them to justice, or bring justice to them." Nevertheless, anti-war editorials, teach-ins, and high-profile student protests appear on college campuses nationwide.
I pray that most Americans will finally wake up and realize that this is a two-front war, and that America's enemies are both foreign and DOMESTIC.
Thank God some of the passengers on Flight 93 didn't feel that way.
One of the things that has disgusted me most has been to watch Barbara Lee's handful of defenders quote the same 1 or 2 family members out of 7,000 victims as saying "please do not retaliate in our son's name etc..."
It is so disengenous to try and posture that those who suffered and their familes don't overwhelmingly support retaliation for this event... and more than that, efforts to make terrorists unable to do this to innocent people again!

Or we could send 1,000 Barbara Lee's after the Taliban too! (1,000 less treasonous America-haters in the country would be fine with me).
They can throw the rice, bread and fruit at the Taliban that they said the bombers should use instead of bombs.
See how long it takes for the Taliban to use Russian-made mortars to thank them for the food, grab it and then blow their heads off.

In my opinion, Bin Laudin passes the "Duck Test" for Fascism.
I don't mean to sound like I'm picking on you, but I'm using your comments to illustrate that the President wasn't just being rhetorical about Bin Laudin & the perurveyors of tyranny. Bin Laudin is no different than Hitler, Stalin, Tojo, or any other despot in history.
