Scenario: Jackson disappears during negociations. Instantly canonized as African American political martyr by the left. U.S. frozen.
Probability: Jackson has no intention of dying for this or any other cause. He'll stay home but only after a few more media appearances. (BARF)

Jail him -- he is already GUILTY:
"Any citizen of the United States wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or any agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or any official or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined not more than $5,000 or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."

I think Jesse should keep his publicity addiction at home. He will do nothing but be in the way, and be a burden and risk to military and intelligence personnel who are in the zone.
Even though the administration has disavowed his publicity stunt, if something happens to him, we all KNOW who will get blamed.
Beware the fury of the patient man. --Dryden

"I really don't want to go," he said of the mission, .............
"We have not invited him, but he offered ............ Ok, who's lieing? Who's fibbing? Time to come clean.

particularly disgusting in this respect in his using the deaths and misfortunes of others as stepping stones for his personal ambitions. He's a democrap. Nothin new here. Been watching the Clinton family lately?

Somebody tell the Taliban that Jackson is a 'Christian' minister -- that should go over pretty well.

"Ok, who's lieing? Who's fibbing? Time to come clean."
Time for the Administration to speak up and just say 'NO'. . .(Condoleeza, Colin. . .Dick. . .GW)doesn't matter who. . .. .
This is rediculous; if they cannot control Jesse. . .

You know, if Jesse just happened to accidentally leave a little poison gas grenade hidden in the room with the "negotiators", I might actually consider him an OK guy - for a while.

Just in case any of you agents reading this board don't have your glasses on:
I wonder why he [Jackson] wants intelligence information.
To: flamefront
I bet that when the request to go reaches (General) Powell...he will reply in terms that JJ can really understand....like NO!

You know, everytime I see him he reminds me of someone, and I just figured it out.....Bert! Look at this:

Maybe the Taliban will kill him thinking that they'll make a martyr out of ole Jesse. If so, they sure do have that figured wrong.
