1917??? Wow, now I have to brush up on my history some more to get some anti-German quotes to convert to anti-Arab quotes. I wouldn't want that close minded wuss to think we were not original thinkers here..

Hey Jeff,

You must be doing some very selective reading on FR. The threads run the gamut of opinion with the exception of the Give Peace a Chance movement. Your selective presentation of this site reminds me of another version of truth which we have been exposed to over the years, Pravda.

May the stench of Lew Rockwell flesh reach paradise, assuring all that the tripe he writes is in hell.

Sounds better this way.

Ah, another Quisling that can't wait to learn another occupier's language! So the "freelance consultant and writer" doesn't think that resisting the Germans in WW I was worthwhile? That's the best part of not learning from history, you get to see it again and again.

Wartime requires the men (and manly women) to be part of the muscle and bone of our country's defense. It would be a refreshing change to have the unmanly ones just keep quiet and pay their taxes on time until the danger's gone. Despite their remarkable talents for noisemaking, they turn out to be worse than useless to the real combatants.

"Freelance consultant and writer". I think that means "living in Mom's house and unemployed".

The writer makes valid points ... particularly regarding the loss of our liberty and freedom under the guise of 'protection'.
I do see a parallell between WW2 Germany and what seems to be happening here in America.

We say the words, "Our lives will never be the same again", but I wonder if anyone really understands what they mean?

Great post. The comparison between Bush's "homeland defense" and Wilson's CPI is accurate. Thanks.

Well how do you feel when you get on an airplane these days?

How long do you think that feeling will last?

You answered your own question without even needing to take anyones rights...

.....with new moderators patrolling the forum to delete posts that in their opinion are detrimental to the "war effort."

Or simply in disagreement with the management's political positions.... Isn't that right Demidog?

If you do a brief analysis of recent history it's a no brainer. We've allowed the 60's generation to run this country almost into the ground morally over the last 30 years. Unfortunately, there is now going to be a backlash to the other extreme. This will include actions that all of us find disturbing. But taking cheap shots at us FReepers is not indicative of what the reality of our opinions are...

Do you often go to someone's home and crap in their living room? Do you expect to be invited back?

This isn't a government Web site. It is privately owned. You seem to think you have a right to crap in the living room and then if the owner cleans up the stench at his expense you are being censored…

Pathetic…

Ah, beautiful.

No, we should not have gotten involved in WWI.

Demidog is not a liberal. He was banned for his political views. The thought police are rabid.

Have a nice day.
