Maher is imploding 24/7! Inspite of his defenders on this board, this Clymer did call our military people cowards! They and his prop spinners post show and the Sh$t storm are trying to spin that he meant our leaders! That is an out and out lie. I read the transcript! He was talking about our pilots and their crews who launced the cruise missiles and our sailors who launch them at sea. He is the coward as well as his defenders. The guys and gals who launch those missiles are at high risk before, during and right after each launch! Maher is now understanding a little about risk after imploding his vile cruise missile mouth the other night!
I keep sending emails to ABC telling them not to fire Maher, jennings and stepingintoit. I tell their bean counters that everytime these world class left wing extremist clymers open their mouths, they lose audience and advertising $'s. Really, I do hope that they keep these clymers around imploding 24/7 and losing more audience and ad $'s!
Rush was so far out and off base in his defense of Maher. Rush is still mad that none of our military people were killed in Serbia/Yugoslavia. I like Rush, but thank God that none of our military people wasted their lives in X42's Wag the Dog!
Next targets should be Whorealdo and Chris Matthews. I don't watch these clymers, however, they will implode soon and destroy their tanking ratings!

And de-fund PBS/NPR for good measure...

Funny how, when America's politics turn rightward, "Mr Politically Incorrect" finally lives up to his shows title and POOF...! Kinda like losing your timing, eh, Bill!

Have you been watching Whorealdo the past few days?
He is busy deserting the sinking ship and soon will be aboard the SS Bush.

You all can HELP get him off the air. Just go to your state's bigger businesses (ie; major car dealers, furniture stores, appliance stores, etc) who buy up advertising time on your most local ABC affiliate...Let them know you dont HAVE to buy their products if they keep adverising on stations that run anti-American programming like Maher's. They dont even have to be advertising on HIS program to understand the implications of this.
They will then let the station know that their advertising dollars may go to a CBS, NBC, FOX, or other stations if that ABC affiliate doesnt pull the plug on Maher.
The station knows that Maher is only a half hour show and it is the LAST network feed they get from ABC for the day at an hour where fewer viewers are even awake...Its a no-brainer...They will pull it and move the reruns of Seinfeld, Frasier, NYPD Blue, or whatever was going to follow Politically Incorrect up a half hour to follow Nightline & everyone will be happy!

I'm sure it was a cry for help. With his ego, he probably thinks all of his fans will start e-mailing and phoning ABC to insist that he stays. He's such a self-righteous, egotistical jerk. Watch, he'll show up tomorrow night with the "stars".

Imus had a good point about Maher. I guess Maher's dad worked at one of the radio stations where Imus worked, so he's known him forever. Imus said that Bill Maher "always thought that he (BM) was smarter than he really was."

As long as he doesn't get residuals after losing his show.

I think what gets most people, or at least me, is that his instinctive knee-jerk reaction was to prop up the perps by readily echoeing the sentiment that they are brave warriors while at the same time not missing a chance to belittle us in our time of great national sorrow. His point did have some validity, though poorly stated, and it was a point that many here have made in regards to the high-altitude air campaign we ran against the Serbs. But still, that was not the time to bring it up, to praise those butchers and then to contrast that praise by calling us wimpy. Instead, why not have pointed out that the orders given by bin Laden (or whoever) were cowardly by attacking innocent people from afar and THEN maybe have compared that to the spineless way that Clinton ran his military affairs?
By the way, for what it's worth i don't agree that the terrorists were brave warriors. Crazed lunatics is more like it. The type of men that if they had been born here would likely have grown up to follow in the footsteps of Ted Bundy or Charles Manson. But instead it is those types, the killers without consciouses that would be sitting on death row here, it is they that in countries like Afghanistan become leaders or top officers while the more decent folks among them sit rotting away in prisons (that is, if they're lucky).

Laura Innes isn't an idiot, she's just a typical liberal, hahaha (same thing). As for Maher's show going off the air; who cares? It sucks and it is anything BUT politically incorrect. ABC has a golden opportunity to dump this turkey and then blame it on right-wing hatemongers to save face. Be prepared for that eventuality.

That's a really good point you made - crazed lunatics vs. brave warriors. I haven't seen anyone distinguish the two yet. Good job.

Oh dear God, I hope so. It is crap, and the fact that Bill Maher is actually trotted out as having some kind of political insight shows you how intellectually starved this country is.

My wife and I have been boycotting all Disney movies and products, and will do so for our children as well.
Imagine, growing up without Mickey Mouse! Well, not if he's a pinko commie lib who openly welcomes sodomites (sorry for destroying the unity). Uncle Walt must be turning over in his grave.

An employment tip for Bill Maher:
Radio Kabul is hiring. Baghdad television could use a native speaker of English for their propoganda. Living conditions might be a little spartan, but you can go on just acting naturally.

Maher is a bafoon... calling his show "Politically Incorrect" is the biggest bunch of hooey.. he stands and defends every PC concept there is... good night Mr. Maher... go back to the hole from whence you came.
To: stumpy
You actually make a good point. There are no residuals on a show like this. It has no secondary market value. You can't sell reruns of a show on current topics into syndication, for obvious reasons.
That is why advertiser pressure works on a show like Maher's. ABC makes it money now, or it never does.
