Agee. Except, they need several until their noses start to bleed. It makes me sick they choose to exercise their freedom of speech and dissneting opinions, but I bet you 99% of them would run if called to serve to protect that freedom. Hope Canada won't take them this time. Definitely an A1 definition of ignorant hypocrits.

Can anyone get a second source on this? The following is the only thing I've been able to find on this action, from ASU's student journalist playpen, The State Press:
ASASU to help stop hate crimes
By Kristina Davis,State Press Nazeef Ebrahim, president of the ASU Muslim Student Association, supports a bill Tuesday at the ASASU Senate meeting to establish a committee and director to unite ASU students after the New York and Washington, D.C., tragedies.
The Associated Students of ASU Senate unanimously approved a new committee Tuesday that will serve to help heal and unite students against hate crimes stemming from last weeks terrorist attacks.
The bill, introduced by ASASU Sens. Ignacio Espinosa de los Monteros and Brian Calaway, focused on hiring someone to direct the new campus relief response coordination committee.
The bill also reallocated $400 from the Safety Escort Service Program to help start the committee. Monteros said more funds will be sent to the committee and to the directors salary in the future.
Monteros and Calaway introduced the bill after considering the safety and awareness concerns of students who attended a Students Against Retribution Violence at ASU forum Monday.
With a single ASASU contact point [director] that can dedicate to the imperative and honorable endeavor that begins today, he said. I believe safety for our minority students will be re-established and tolerance will grow.
Monteros said the committee will address the immediate and long-term needs of students of all nationalities. The committee will also help eliminate the possibilities of all hate crimes, according to Monteros and Calaway.
Students from ASUs Muslim Student Association, Pakistan Student Association and United Society of South Asians also attended the Senate meeting to support the bill.
Nazeef Ebrahim, Muslim Student Association president, was pleased the vote was unanimous.
Im very happy that the bill passed and that ASASU showed support to take such a firm stance in the issue, he said. The resulting effect will create a positive environment at ASU.
Hassan Al-Refae, a Muslim Student Association member and computer systems engineering junior, also appreciated ASASUs unanimous vote.
Right now there are a lot of Muslims who are leaving and going back to Saudi Arabia right now, he said. This might change their minds now because ASASU is behind them.
In another Senate action, ASASU defeated a bill that recommended Sodexho Marriott place sizeable American flags in all its markets and stores on campus. Last week, Sodexho Marriott had ordered the removal of American flags placed in the Sahuaro marketplace.
Reach Kristina Davis at msmaestro3@yahoo.com.
I can't tell from this exactly what the "Seante" voted on, why such action was taken, or what preceeded it. Good reporting, Kristina!

I am a Sun Devil Alumni, and this is outrageous. I knew there was a reason I didn't give money to this school.

""Betty the Yeti: An Eco-Fable," the story of a logger who has sex with a Yeti and is transformed into an environmentalist."Well, that would explain the lack of attractiveness or hygiene of liberal females, wouldn't it? Maybe it wasn't a story ... it was somebody's biography and you're just being an old reactionary meanie prude by criticizing something that should be pure and beautiful ... Yeti-sex!

They understand that the pen is sometimes mightier than the sword. That's why most work in the media. Such people aren't cut out for business, history, medicine, engineering, and other hard sciences. Those subjects have a student deal with the realities of the world and such truths cloud their dreams of totalitarian utopia. Sheeples in the first degree.

Great pics, Whacko. But I doubt that the one on the right was as staged as the one on the left. Not trying to slam the WWII shot, but the flag had already been raised at that point. They did it a second time to get a good picture.

This is disgusting. How can you be offended by the American flag? YOU'RE IN AMERICA!!! What do you expect? Fortunately on my campus people have flags hanging in classrooms, on car antennas, etc.

We need to organise a group to go in their and kick these sons and daughters of dogs out.The ones that dont want it need to be thrown out into the streets. The peaceniks, liberals want protection but dont want to pay the price. If this country had been this way years ago we would already be dust. All red blooded Americans need to stand up and be counted our very existance is at stake,

If alums (especially those who contibute) and students don't protest this LOUDLY, that institution will be forever branded as a Taliban Terrorists Sympathizer and thereby approves of the murder of 5000+ Americans. I'm offended that Americans' tax dollars are given to support these America haters. This is clear cut issue, you either support the murder of innocents or you don't. Those who attack our flag support murder.
