Arm the Stewardesses they are on the front line!! They should all become sharp shooters!
Women are known to be better shooters than men. HeHe, The sad truth.

We will also need to pass a law that prevents the pilot and crew from being sued if a passinger or passingers get injured or killed while they are trying to defend the plane. I am not a pilot but I would not fly a passenger airplane, armed, without that protection.

A bullet hole in a pressurized cabin is no problem. Our B29's were pressurized and took holes a lot larger than .45cal. I suspect it is the airline industry that is against arming the pilots. Should a incident arise and a passanger was shot there would be another lawyers retirement plan in the works. They want the liability and expense to be on the public.

If the pilot does not want to carry or have access to a firearm, ground the pilot. Or better yet, fire the pilot!

Anyone with a CCW permit is also allowed to carry their loaded weapon onto an airplane.

You don't know much about airplane pressurization if you have to ask that question.
There are always holes and leaks in an passenger airplane cabin. One more won't kill the passengers.
Besides there are bullets that reduce even that small amount of risk.
Question . . . Would you rather fly into a building or suffer a gradual decompression loss? Your choice.

Uh, and what do you/we think will happen when a couple of bullets go through the plane i.e. a pressurized cabin? The oxygen masks drop and the pilot brings the plane down to a lower altitude. No body gets sucked out the window like in the movies. There is a little noise and a little wind.
It is much better than crashing into a building full of Americans.
