Some on this board need to get off their high horses. Everyone knows that not all (or even very many) Muslims are to blame for this tragedy. People are just venting. Let them.

Good to see the night shift is in capable hands.

Hey, some of these morons have never left the farm. What do you expect?

Another angle to this: Our leaders and military strategists have said we cannot alienate the world's moderate Muslim community, in our pursuit of these terrorists. We can and will use their help to track down these people. The Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, with an army of 15,000 and reservists of an additional 15,000 have offered their support, as had Pakistan. These are key players in smoking out these people, with long term stakes in keeping on good terms with the U.S.
Thus I agree with the posts title and it is in line with the President's strategy. Let's not shoot ourselves in the feet!

This is no time to be second-guessing our Commander-in-Chief and the Vice President. You are with us - or against us.Agree 100%

Your reading of the history of WWII was obviously done half-fast, parrot.
Many enemy aliens, and some foreign-ancestoried citizens, not just Japanese, were interned: Germans, Italians, and perhaps the odd Russian or two, before the commies switched sides. Not just in California, either. And of course, every enemy alien had to register, and they were tracked rather carefully. Just as we ought to be doing to the friendly and peaceful sons of Mohammed amongst us who are not citizens.
Were there racist overtones to the internment of West Coast Japanese? You betcha, bro. But it certainly wasn't the main reason.
Was it a bad idea? Sure was. It wasn't the first of many, but typical of what a fellow named Earl Warren foisted on the USA over a 30-year career of judicial mischief-making.

Believe me, zook, you're not the only one alarmed by the level of bigotry here. I don't know what to say. It is just stunning.

Is hurting the War EffortIndeed. And we all know who those people are. Those who give aid and comfort to the enemy. People who agree with and laud the emotions of the terrorists. The Jew haters, the America bashers.
I CANNOT WAIT until we rid the earth of these mass murderers who attacked our people, and all their enablers, and their network all over the world.
Praise be to God!!!!

PS - I am SO glad I worked for Bush and helped get him elected. He is so perfect for this time in our lives. I have a picture that I had taken with him last year, before the election. I will pray before it for God to give him strength.

Amen, and that's why I've consistently opposed these folks here. BTW, ronnie, glad you had you picture taken with Dubya last year... from the sort of stuff you post here, I doubt the SS would let you near him now.
