Oh, thanks for the hit. I'm not surprised. I'm just wondering how complicated all this is going to be. We depend on the ME for 60% of our oil, so we're going to have to tapdance around the petroleum producers and the radical Marxists. And God only knows who or what other enemies are potentially involved. I'm much less worried about more actual terrorists here at home than the 'terrorists' on the American left that have so weakened national resolve by nearly destroying the underlying unification of our culture. I truly wish we could challenge their rhetoric on the grounds of treason. If we're all going to loose more liberty over this, might as well start with them. I know, I know. I'm just venting.

If there WERE a link, I can guarandamntee you that we would not fully illuminate that link or refer to in anything other than vague generalities... until AFTER we had enough ASSETS in place to protect our allies: Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey... and a few others.

KEY EVENT... the coming of the elder king of Saudi Arabia and protector of MECCA and Medina, BACK to the country as WE wisked him away at the first hint of trouble... The saud regime IS a primary focus of bin laden's hatred... and the fact that the Saudis have REQUESTED that WE defend their most holy sites from the likes of Sad Amm Insane and osami ben crazy... tells us a LOT about what is going on BEHIND the scenes.

"The Saudis have demanded we NOT use their bases for strikes against other arab nations" ... riiggght. FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION. The saud family is writing out checks for oil and tactical nukes for our immediate use, I am betting... all the while condemning us for this or that...

Back channel they are probably whining to US and to Israel through their intermediaries in Jordan... "SAVE OUR ASSES, Iran and Iraq hired Ben inhalin to destroy our protectorate over the two most holy sites to the "faithful" muslims... " Why else is gasoline NOT 8 dollars a gallon?

Even with the "dream team" in washington dc... and the hotest Deltas and SAS forces on earth on the ground.. this is a real mess... and we are going to get bloody. We may win... but we will get bloody.

This radical muslim "thing" has "hydra" written all over it. Too many writhing, venemous heads, and not enough blades to sever them all at once.. at least not yet.

Anybody who believes that al queda is the alpha and omega of this "war on terror" that we have just engaged upon, probably believes the BARNEY the dino, is a real animal too. You don't send 5-7 carrier groups, with 30-50 thousand men on an initial deployment, to take out less than 100 tanks and a few dozen "supersonic" capable jets... and four or five sam missile sites.... that is about three hours of work for ONE carrier, not four or five american and one or two British ones... And hey that does not include the other type of naval groups that would exceed the 5-7 carrier groups we already KNOW about from pentagon reports....

HOW many carrier groups did we use in the gulf war? NOT THAT MANY.

I think MORE than Afganistan and Iraq is up. I suspect we have been prepared for WMD, and mushroom parties.... hang on to your lead-lined jockey shorts.
