Your point is well taken and I share your disgust. However, there are certain protocols and conventions that need to be adhered to. The "Perp" and "Vice-Perp" would be excellent targets for those who wish the U.S. ill. And can you imagine the fawning lib press wails if GWB initiated "hot missions" while these high profile two were "out of border"?

YEA DID YOU SEE WHO HE COMFORTED A YOUNG GIRL CRYING OVER A LOVED ON PULLED HER CLOASE AND HUGGED HER THIS PREDITOR HAS ALOT OF NERVE STICKING HIS NOSE ANYWHERE CLOSE TO NEW YORK ....
To: Howlin
Don't worry, Howlin. He won't be in NY long. Still runnin' from the Gambinos, ya know.
To: Howlin
The is just the setup.
The next step is for the liberal media to post poll results saying 80% of Americans think that Clinton is doing a better job of showing support for New York than Bush is. That will be the next wall-to-wall story to try to undermine Bush's surge in popularity.

Bush is WORKING. Photo Ops can come when the dust settles on the rubbleour enemies' land.
Plus, Bush is a target. Clinton is a team member.....

You misunderstood me. I agree nothing is beneath Clinton. What I found offensive was the crude reference to the fireman's widow. I thought Zooker's post was disrespectful of them.
To: Pipers
Explain the difference between clinton-gore here or abroad. Blackmail? They can keep the two of them. At this point, who cares? c'mon. you are talking about an ex president/vice-president. if something would have happened to x42 on monday i believe president bush, no matter his personal thoughts of the man himself, would have treated it as an act of war. and it would've been.
at this juncture, we are on war footing and the u.s. simply can't allow high profile targets running around the world with minimal security.
To: classygreeneyedblonde
They just showed him on MSNBC. You wait -- he'll be walking in front of those live cameras before long.

Aside from causing it.
To: 62chrysler
Understood. At a time like this, however, the last thing a fireman's widow needs is Clintoon's phony sympathy (while he's feeling her up). It's disgusting.
To: Howlin
He wanted to see the new view he had from his Harlem office.
To: Howlin
Apparently luck was with him again -- leave it to him to get in just before they closed our airports again. As soon as Fox panned over I changed channels and SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE - CNN WAS NOT COVERING IT. I am sure our local stations are but I refuse to watch him shed crocodile tears and bite his lower lip. The only real tears I saw were those of our President, bless his heart.

EastTexAnn and Christine: Winston Churchill and Ronald Reagan WORKED too. But they had the instinct to lead by example, and knew when it was important to be at the scene of an historical event. Not for their place in history (that was a bad choice of words),or for Clintonian scene-stealing purposes (I agreed with Bush's decision NOT to meet the China-kidnapped crew when they returned to Whidbey Island), but because they were needed and it was the best thing to do at the time.
To: right-sidedNYer
Why of course he had to beat the president to NYC because, after all, his wife, PIAPS is the junior senator! Read lots of sarcasm! (PIAPS= pig in a pants suit)
To: StarFan
Have you seen any polls? The panel on Fox is saying Bush's job approval numbers are up 20 percent.

They's be up more if he had gotten there earl.....oh, never mind. Poll numbers aren't the point.
To: Dan from Michigan
Right now, I don't give a rat's ass about Bill Clinton. He has nothing to do with the situation.Nor I. He can take his lip-biting and fake tears elsewhere.
