Exactly...good pilots understand the advantages and limitations of their ship (especially in relation to potential adversaries) and adhere to developed doctrine that has taken those characteristics into account.
It is a good thing to fly an aircraft that has superior flying characteristics, especially in a situation where you find yourself unexpectedly in a bad situation, but...you should avoid those situations!

Do you believe that every military action taken by the CIC irrespective how miniscule require an act of Congress? Do you consider sending military aircraft across the borders of a sovereign state to attack military bases minuscule?
I would consider that an act of war if it was perpetrated on the US by a foreign power.
But, in response to your question, no. Trumps taking destroying drug running boats in international waters, for instance, I do not consider illegal or an act of war, in contrast to the Democrat media propaganda.

and the formalities can wait for another day. When was the last time the formalities were observed?
I believe it was December 8, 1941. Correct me if I am wrong.
And yet we have been at war almost continuously since.
War is just too profitable to be permitted to lay idle.

If Israel did not exist we still would have taken out Iran’s nuke program... If Israel didn't exist, Iran probably would not be pursing nuclear weapons.
Israel's obtaining nuclear weapons is the impetus of Iran wanting nuclear weapons.
And as a result of Iran pursuing nuclear weapons Saudi Arabia is pursuing nuclear weapons.
Revelations? The Apocalypse?

The F-35 can carry two GBU-31 (2,000 lb each) and two AAMRAM air-to-air missiles internally. It does have the ability to carry up to 22,000 lbs. of ordnance.
I was curious to know if, in the mode carrying external ordnance and fuel, when those are expended, do the wing pylons get jettisoned as well, restoring its stealth? I was unable to find out.

No surprises there.
We are told that humans are not perfect. We also know that it's impossible for humans to agree on a lot of things
Only when we all humans have the same exact minds that cannot detect a difference in opinions, then and only then, will there NOT be any new wars.
The nature of humans demands that we always be in conflict, no matter what the issue(s).
And, profits have nothing to do with why wars are fought. People can profit from war, but profit is not the initial cause of wars.

I think two of those GB-31s were carried externally, since there can only be two internally. Probably had fuel stores externally as well.

Certainly there will always be war as long as there are enough humans to have one.
But the United States does not have to be involved with all of them.
The United States does not have to supply arms to all of them.

Interesting how motivated people can get when they aren’t paid by the hour isn’t it? The also get darn serious when they don’t have a blank checkbook and are fighting for their survival.

Ain't that the truth? It's the nature of man. But, it's also something that occurs with other animals. We were not made perfect, but neither were the other animal species.
But the United States does not have to be involved with all of them.
Obviously, we don't get involved in all of them.
The United States does not have to supply arms to all of them.
We don't do that either. But it's incumbent on us to help our allies and friends, and it's also necessary when it comes to stopping an aggressor, especially when the aggressor is a country such as Russia or Iran or China.
