For an arrest and charges to result in a trial and conviction, the evidence has to be overwhelming-beyond refuting-that takes time and patience. You don’t get that if you get in front of cameras and tell everyone what you are doing just so people will say-oh, look-they are going after so-and-so-I like Kash Patel. It is called “covert operations”-as in don’t spook the criminal-if they think they are hidden, they will keep incriminating themselves until the noose is knotted tight. That is how it works for a successful takedown that results in prison time..
