The idea of self-insured often doesn’t pay in the long run.

Far left until they want businesses to invest. The people there want that kind of a government...freedom of expression...no consequences...now all the freeloaders and far left dummies go down...fine with me..

Santa Monica used to be Red. “B-1 Bob” Dornan, the conservative firebrand, represented it in Congress for three terms.

Santa Monica is a leftist enemy camp. I hope I never see that place again.

Santa Monica, at least in the ‘90s was a straight up socialist government. I was informed of this by executives of the company I worked for that had dealings with the city council.

As an aside, since the ‘90s, Santa Monica worked to shut down their iconic airport by ever increasing restrictions. They have effectively succeeded.

“One former staffer...reported Uller to the program’s director...in 1993 after a boy came to her office and alleged he had made sexually inappropriate comments to him.”

“Santa Monica City Councilman Oscar de la Torre also tried to blow the whistle on Uller starting in the early 2000s”

I’m troubled, deeply troubled, Dr. Shrink.

What’s the problem?

I was sexually molested.

Where was this done?

....

Who did that to you?

....

Is it alright that I inform the authorities about that man?

Many are Catholics.

They might have said something during confession.

California public schools are so value-subtracted that putting them out of business for any reason is a good thing.

I went back and found it. Irks me when I read something, then skim it again and still miss something which seems obvious after it is pointed out.

It does sound like the city deserves being bankrupted. And good riddance.
