The House had only clocked about half an hour of work before adjourning, which allowed CSPAN 1 to cover POTUS.
The House returned 15 minutes ago and is scheduled to stay in session until Midnight ET.
Meanwhile, the Senate resumed work at 3 ET and is slated to go until 8 pm ET.
They honestly don’t accomplish much, but I guess it’s a good thing that they’re back in town so a little bit of POTUS’ agenda moves forward.
Most importantly, Thune can confirm a few of President Trump’s backlog of nominees.

Space Command is finally coming home to Alabama. This announcement by President Trump is yet another in a long line of strong decisions that benefit America’s national security.
Alabama was chosen in 2021 because it was the absolute best location for the Space Command headquarters. Today, in 2025, it remains the best location for our national security and for the taxpayer. This basing decision has been affirmed and reaffirmed by multiple agencies and multiple officials throughout both the Trump and Biden administrations. Biden was content to have Space Command located in the fourth best location because it served him politically. The differences between him and President Trump has never been clearer.

Trump set to attend Yankees game on 9/11 anniversary: sources
President Trump will be heading to The Bronx to take in a Yankees game on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, sources familiar with the arrangements exclusively told The Post.
Vice President JD Vance will represent the administration at a commemoration ceremony at Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan, with Trump scheduled to attend a memorial event at the Pentagon in northern Virginia, the sources said.
Later in the day, Trump will travel to the city of his birth and attend the 7:05 p.m. matchup between the Yankees and Detroit Tigers, in a meeting of two of the top teams in the American League.
The sources cautioned that the plans were tentative and that Trump, 79, could still change his mind.

Downtown Memphis was a literal war zone yesterday. There was a raging gun battle on Beale Street. More than a half dozen major fights in the streets. And one restaurant was overrun by a violent mob. The mob smashed tables, chairs and windows. A number of businesses simply locked their doors. Gov. Bill Lee (R-TN) needs to send in the National Guard - but refuses to do so. When the Democrats nominated that Kenyan C@ck$ucker Obama, they had a plan. When I say they, this goes much deeper and much higher than leading Dems & RINOS. This country was meant for a major transformation. Away from being a Republic with all of its freedoms and under control from these sick Bastards who care for nothing except for wealth, total control and world dominance.
Trump came along and they were ecstatic. A business man with no political experience to take on the Clinton machine who they thought they paved the way for a lock presidential nomination. They f**ked up, badly. Before they could try and steal the election back, it was too late. Trump won and they were pissed. They did everything in their power to stop him, and failed miserably at every turn.
Along came 2020, and the Democrats had too much invested in their agenda to destroy America, and put an insurance policy to make sure Trump would never ever see the oval office again. They did everything possible to rig an election. None of that would have been possible unless of course you had scumbags in your own party willing to help the evil empire.
We all know the results. Trump a man who won in a landslide had the election taken from him and the Deep State was in celebration mode. They finally had control and in rapid speed have been working relentlessly to destroy our once prominent great country. But Donald Trump never stopped fighting. You see this man loves our country and the people within much more than fearing for his own safety and livelihood. He decided to fight. He promised to come back and make America great again.
They got the message. Now it was destroy Trump at any cost. Break every law needed, get the most corrupt, Law Enforcement agency in our history, and find the most corrupt district attorneys, and take Trump down forever. But in Trump fashion, he gave them all a giant, f**k you, and promised he will be back.
He’s back! Another promise kept. This time he is wiser, smarter, he knows who all the bad guys are on both sides. He’s here with a vengeance. He also remembers everything that was done to him and also knows all the guilty parties involved
That is why we are all here every day trying to make a difference. He came back for us now it is our responsibility as MAGA, to always have his back like he has ours. We have something they don’t have. God on our side, and God trumps all. Yes, pun intended.
We must stand behind this man and join him by giving the Democrats and those above them a giant f**k you let them know you are willing to fight to your death before caving in and handing over the greatest country on the face of the Earth. The fight is resilient and we are making headway. Finally the tide is turning, Obama and his minions are all exposed and we can not under any circumstance take our foot off the gas pedal.
It is put up or shut up time for Bondi. She was handed the blueprint left behind by Devin Nunes. This country needs to see accountability. Enough talking, enough telling us about all the crimes. We already lived it. MAGA needs to see arrests. The natives are getting restless. Trump for some reason believes in Bondi, we believe in Trump. Maybe he knows something we don’t.
