Been there a couple times. The tourist areas are OK during the day. Keep your head on a swivel.

I was there for work and brought my wife. She touristed each day. She had a stun gun and pepper spray with her. At night, I carried a firearm.

You can wander off the beaten path very easily. She did once and realized she’d gotten into the hood and turned around.

This behavior from a certain subset of people occurs at a highly disproportionate rate among all their elected officials. Not just mayors. All seem ghetto ratchet and entitled.
