“I sympathize with your loss of anonymity but facial recognition now permeates our public areas not just airports. I was in Lowe’s last week and they have them at the check out area.”
Every camera out there that uses WiFi are all hooked to central databases and are tracking you in real time. And these all have facial recognition capability. Phones, Smart TVs, Ring Cameras, Traffic Cameras, all Store Cameras... All of them...
The TSA needs to follow the Israeli model of airport security. They have never failed since its inception. “What is that mode?”, you might ask. Well, it is careful profiling. It doesn’t slow down or inconvenience process of boarding planes.
9/11 would not work today because the passengers and crew would fight back.

I thought of Flight 93 on 9/11 as I was typing my post.
I remember not all that long ago, there was a Delta Air Lines flight enroute from Los Angeles to Atlanta.
The pilot came on the intercom and announced, “Will all able-bodied male passengers please come to the first class cabin.” Or words to that effect.
Apparently, a woman was going beserk and she needed to be subdued. She was, thanks to the men who responded to the pilot’s request.
