Somewhere last night in New York City, a single mother and her children slept at a homeless shelter because you, assemblyman @ZohranKMamdani are occupying her rent controlled apartment.

Leaders must show moral clarity.

Democrats don't even know what morals are, much less showing moral clarity.

Only in NYC do low-income people rent an apartment for $2300 a month!

Just like I predicted on July 27:

Meanwhile, Zorhan Mamdani lives in a rent-stabilized 1-bedroom apartment in Astoria, Queens, by his own account paying a monthly rent in the low $2,000s (as of a 2019 tweet).

And, his mother lives in a $2 million luxury loft in Chelsea, the family owns a 4 acre compound in the wealthiest neighborhood near the Ugandan capital with military-style security, and another family home in Delhi, India.

Andrew Cuomo and Eric Adams must use the lavish wedding to ask:

  1. How he qualified for rent-stabilized housing given his family's documented wealth; when did he obtain the apartment?

  2. What were his income/assets at that time?

  3. Is he the primary leaseholder, or did his now-wife have the apartment first?

The candidates must ask the voters whether if it is appropriate for someone with access to family properties worth $2+ million to occupy subsidized housing in New York City?

And then close the deal by asking the voters if they want to pay taxes for free busing and free grocery stores while the mayor is living in subsidized housing when his family is owns millions of dollars of property internationally?

You have heard then, comrades," he said, "that we pigs now sleep in the beds of the farmhouse? And why not? You did not suppose, surely, that there was ever a ruling against beds? A bed merely means a place to sleep in. A pile of straw in a stall is a bed, properly regarded. The rule was against sheets, which are a human invention. We have removed the sheets from the farmhouse beds and sleep between blankets. And very comfortable beds they are too! But not more comfortable than we need, I can tell you, comrades, with all the brainwork we have to do nowadays. You would not rob us of our repose, would you, comrades? You would not have us too tired to carry out our duties?

Madmandami. A great name for an Ugandan thug. I think we shall call him Dada after his idol, Idi Amin.

Mamdani: (satire) No reason to sleep in a shelter. Why she just have her parents wire them a few thousand dollars and put them up in a fine hotel until they find a great apartment? That’s what I’d do.

Mamdani is going to move into Gracie Mansion and still hang on to his rent-controlled apartment in Astoria, isn’t he?

I would be long gone broke if I had to pay out that much for a house. That’s more than I make. Of course don’t live in NYC & hopefully don’t ever even visit there. That is totally absurd. Why should Mamdavi be there. The situation would help me make up my mind at election time.

"Somewhere last night in New York City, a single mother and her children slept at a homeless shelter because you, assemblyman @ZohranKMamdani are occupying her rent controlled apartment."

Oh cry me a river Andrew. Did you give a $hit about that single mother when you and your father closed multiple psych centers around the State and tossed those nut cases on the street? Did you give a $hit about anyone when those same nut cases were committing horrendous crimes in the State, and they ended up in New York State's prisons? Did you give a $hit for anyone, when you tossed inmates out of your prisons during Covid? And did you really give a $hit when you and now Kathy Hochul closed dozens of the State's prisons, tossed more inmates into the streets, and screwed up the lives of multiple employees who were transferred clear across the State from where they lived, or lost their jobs entirely? Did you give a $hit when criminals were caught and released without bail, only to commit more crimes, never being held accountable? All this $hit and more happened under your watch, so don't claim you give a $hit about this mother and her children. You turned all New Yorkers into potential victims of the animals you put on the street.

"Meanwhile, Zorhan Mamdani lives in a rent-stabilized 1-bedroom apartment in Astoria, Queens..."

"Charles Rangel, a prominent former RAT U.S. Representative, lived in four rent-controlled apartments in New York City. This arrangement was part of his legal and ethical scrutiny, as he was found guilty of violating House ethics rules and received a censure from the House. Rangel's use of these apartments as campaign offices and his subsequent censure highlight the complexities of political conduct and the legal implications of such arrangements. He also never paid tax on the money he earned by renting out his Dominican Republic villa. It's that Democrat privilege.

Yes. Cuomo can see where all this is going, but too little, too late.

I feel sort of bad for the people of NYC, but you get what you vote for, although I still have a hard time seeing NYC as a future Detroit.

Paying a dollar for a house in Manhattan or Queens is coming.
