Israel has done such reputational damage to themselves that even Germany is backing away from unconditional support.
But Israel is stiff-necked and stubborn. And you can’t tell them anything.
Any criticsm, and they immediately devolve to ancient “Nazi” tropes. Even though Germany has simped for them for the past 80 years.

Annexation is ‘a bridge too far” for Europe and probably for the majority of Americans too. Any forced evacuation of the Palestinians out of Gaza means we lose the midterms.
