These two numbskulls better get a clue. This is hundreds of billions coming through. It’s not NYC voters

Makes me think Cuomo's intrusion is actually engineered by the Deep State to ensure Mamdani's victory.

If you thought NYC was a no go zone before it is about to sink into the abyss

This is the classic prisoner’s dilemma.

Stupid politicians lose at that game every time.

This guy that’s gonna win. He’s not a politician. He’s a plant.

Why would you think that? When I hear hoofbeats I think horses, not zebras. The recent poll has Cuomo down by less than 10; Adams is down by more than 20. It may be that Mandami’s 35% is close to his ceiling. He’s eminently beatable if these simpletons can get it together

My snap judgment after the primary was that Adams should stay in and Cuomo get out. But whichever of these despicable aholes can get the higher number of voters from the addled electorate is the one I favor. There’s no understanding the NY voters’ hive mind. Whichever way they seem to be going, so be it

And, no matter how you slice it, Sliwa needs to get out. Probably about 30 days before early voting begins. There’s no universe in which he wins

Split vote and the Muslim wins.

New York deserves everything bad if they vote for the communist

Agreed on Sliwa—if he can park his ego somewhere and start thinking about what is best for the city he needs to stop campaigning and endorse somebody (don’t know if he can get off the ballot at this point).

Then Adams and Cuomo need to lock themselves in a room and not leave until they have cut a deal.

How bad is Cuomo?
He makes Adams look good.

Eric Adams has to fight 2 or 3 opponents but remember Trump once had to overcome 16 well known rivals, most of them well funded with traditional party backers-—and he made it.

One way was trashing them all and pointing out their shortcomings.

Agreed, I thought the same thing about Cuomo - in exchange for not prosecuting him further.

“Are you kidding me?” he told The New York Post. “I didn’t lose in the primary."

No, but you would have. That's why you didn't run in the primary.

What is this Deep State that everyone talks about? I doubt that conservatives have any clear idea, or agreement, on what is the Deep State.

For instance, I don't think this Deep State has any involvement in local NYC politics.

I think the Deep State is a national phenomenon, primarily focused on finance and foreign policy, and embedded in the Pentagon, State Dept, Justice, and intel community.

Has nothing to do with Mamdani.

We live about 65 miles from N.Y. City. For one year I was an I.T. consultant for Merrill Lynch at the World Financial Center before 911. It was a clean and much safer place than it is now. If this infiltrator gets to be mayor the city will get much worse, anyone with any money will flee. And that’s my problem. In north western N.J. it is fairly rural, farms, fields woods, and houses spread apart. During covid with the shutdowns New Yorkers were buying up land and houses. Our property values have skyrocketed, but so have our taxes. They are also too liberal and want to change things. This is a very conservative area given it’s N.J. They complain about a barn that smells, are against any hunting, and will sue you for not mowing your lawn often enough. Some have become teachers and that’s a big problem.

I wonder what they promised Cuomo to stay in the race and split the anti-Zohran vote…
