The U.S. Senate confirmed the judge by a 46 to 24 vote on December 17, 2021. Thirty Senators did not vote. So this judge was confirmed with less than a majority vote and the number of no show Senators exceeded the number of no votes. Look at the official Senate report on the vote to see if your Senator chose to vote. Many Republicans could not make the time to cast a vote.

The 4th Amendment isn’t a suicide pact. Nor is the 14th Amendment. This judge, like all leftists, is so focused on race that to her it’s all about the white host culture against people with brown skin. In her mind she is drawing parallels to the internment of Japanese during WWII (Korematsu decision 1944). Here we have a compelling national interest holding up against strict scrutiny so long as the least onerous means to remove the illegal invaders are employed. Korematsu involved interning American citizens. Today’s illegal aliens do not have the same rights and privileges. Traffic stops are the least onerous and invasive implementation of this nation’s compelling interest.
They have probable cause or they wouldn’t be there.
