Though I find it discouraging that the elite seldom pay a price for their transgressions, I would have no problem with Trump never producing the Epstein files. I do have a problem with Trump’s overpromising and then underdelivering.
Another example is the “no tax on Social Security” promise which he has repeated, even after it was known that the BBB does not say that. Many people are going to be unhappy when they file their taxes next April and find out that they are paying taxes on Social Security because it is an income deduction, and even then is phased out on a sliding scale.
I also wonder how much of the enormous amount of money that Trump says people will have extra because of the BBB is really just the difference between the nightmare they would’ve had if his 2017 tax reductions had been eliminated. Republicans made a big mistake back then because they changed the withholding tables so that people did not get the big refund that they were accustomed to. Some people who live paycheck to paycheck with automatic deposit of their wages thought that they had paid more taxes. Many Americans are very enumerate.
Under promising and over delivering works much better.
If the Republicans ever have any serious hearings on Democrat wrongdoings, I hope they hire Matt Gaetz to ask the questions. He is the very best I ever heard in the House at interrogating witnesses. He had a way of getting them to answer questions that they did not want to answer. He did not just give a speech to hear himself talk.

I’ve been retired for some years now, and not coming through on his Social Security promise is a very big deal for us.
I can only hope that future legislation will include more of his campaign promises.
That said, I also believe that President Trump saved the country from an unimaginable disaster.
America is still recognizable as the country it’s supposed to be, or should be, almost.
If Harris had won last November I think the country would be in a civil war, and not like the current idiotic stuff we see from the left, but an actual, bullets flying total breakdown of the country.
