Wasn’t this guy the Senator from Massachusetts?
Think he won Teddy’s seat
Election results and ideology ratings for Scott Brown from RightDataUSA.com
In his last year as a Massachusetts Senator (2012) he voted with *Democrats* 61% of the time. He also voted the anti-conservative position on important issues 64% of the time.
I get that a Republican must run scared while seeking re-election in Massachusetts, but Brown was a squish even before 2012. I doubt he’s changed much just because he’s moved a few miles to the north. Then again, with super-squish Sununu taking a pass, it’s not like New Hampshire has any viable GOP candidates anyway.
The main difference between Sununu/Brown for Senate in NH and Larry Hogan in Maryland in 2024 is that NH is actually a winnable state. Or at least it should be.
For about ten minutes. He won the special election after Ted Kennedy died.
Can he win there? Open seat right? Sununu didn’t’t have the balls to run and he’s not one of us. Neither is the underwear model but I sent him $50 when Kennedy croaked. Another opportunity missed. Maybe we’ll get lucky. Ayott fell 600 votes short in ‘16. Blame republicans.
Well, Brown has got my vote, and, yes, he won Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat in a special election before he lost the following general to Fauxcahontas and changed his legal address to NH.
Brown is a rich guy whose beach mansion so it was just a paper transaction to become an NH resident.
He’s already lost one US Senate race here, but Pappas is at least in theory beatable.
The NH GOP is basically dead as a statewide organization, although does well in the legislative races and the governor is a Republican more than half the time.
Like two decades ago in a red truck and then Rand Pauled us in the back? Kinda fuzzy on the details. We might need to convene the memory consul. By the way has anyone seen my teeth? I know they aren’t on the lawn as I’ve been vigilant

There was a time in living memory when New Hampshire was solidly and reliably Republican. I guess all the Massachusetts refugees changed that just as the California refugees flipped Colorado.
He’s remembered for one line: when the debate moderator asked him some thing about the Kennedy seat, Brown cut in and said, “With all due respect, it’s not the Kennedy seat, it’s the people’s seat.”
A NH friend once told me some years ago, it wasn’t the massholes so much as the New Yorkers who were making the state unlivable.
Interesting. Either way, it’s a shame.
The Massachusetts border counties are deep red.
It’s the Vermont border that’s packed with refugees from Vermont and NY bringing their commie stuff with them.
And the NH legislature is quite conservative. We have the largest state House in the country, so members are the neighbors of the voters.
But the statewide races are dominated by party regulars, and, as somebody once said about Romney, “his dad fired your dad”. Establishment GOP people are the worst people in America and they are who runs for Congress.
Correct, NH is definitely massed up.. Its where the uniparty was perfected, that said Brown will win NH and do great job representing the Uniparty in DC, screwing tax payers, stabbing conservatives and making big buck from the K street whores..
Ayotte betrayed NH voters, she answered to Juan Mcpain who funded her..80+ percent of her campaign funds came from outside NH.. uniparty needed a reliable player.. in steps Shaheen .. Shitheen has never done anything the uniparty bosses haven’t wanted done.. 100 percent a uniparty team player.
Ayotte is living proof of why the 17th Amendment needs to be repealed.
Ayotte will run for president in 2028..
Then lost to Elizabeth Warren in the main election, after betraying Republicans.
A snake if I ever saw one. Let’s hope he loses.
Ayott lost a “gimme” when she followed McCain’s directive to not endorse Trump.
She is currently doing a marginally acceptable job as governor here.

Kicked herself upstairs to the statehouse. DeWine did the same thing in Ohio. Senatorial disappointments.
