In other news Ukraine announced the installation of 20 nukes mixed between tactical and icbm. When Russia and China protested at the UN they were met with the knowledge the same had been done for Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

It should all be on the Farm Film Report.

I have tolerated Gateway Pundit in the past, but I am not in the least interested in seeing Jim Hoft just piss his pants while he pulls himself into a fetal ball on the floor.
Pathetic.
And what was that stupidity about a “Nobel Prize”? The only reason anyone not a Leftist who thought that was something good was because it would have been a well deserved and enthusiastic thumb in the eye of people who thought Barack Obama deserved that award.

This guy hasn’t been President for 13 years and has made his post-career as a war hawk.
Anything he says is like reading someone like Bolton opining on what other nations do.
I like this one though. “2. The enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue.”

I think that is lost on many people. We can trace any nuclear explosion to the origin. If Russia or Pakistan gave Iran weapons, they would be inviting a nuclear response directly.
I do see this idiotic rhetoric as bluster.
The problem with the leadership in Iran is that even if they think they could develop nuclear weapons for a proxy to use them on us, and even if it could be traced directly back to them anyway, they would still find a proxy who would use them.

Interesting concept. Do those countries recognize that if Iran uses one of those warheads on Israel or the US, that the supplying country will be given the same nuclear response that Iran will get? Yeah, putting your nation’s continued existence in the hands of the mad Mullahs would seem to be a very bad idea. There are just some things you shouldn’t outsource, and using your nation’s nuclear arsenal would seem to be at the top of the list.

I guess a third nation can give nukes to Poland, Finland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
Maybe honor the Budapest memorandum and give the nukes to Ukraine.

>> More proof that Russia has never embraced Western Civilization. Right. Whether they weare a 16-th century
kaftan, or a 21-st century business suit, they are still a weird mix of Mongol and Bysantine and not a part of the West. Russia has never took part in or contributed to the Rennaisanse, Reformation or the Englightment. Muscovy is Muscovy.

An EMP is what should concern us. Any other means of nuke delivery is survivable. An EMP would be very bad for sure, but it’s not the all-powerful doomsday weapon imagined in post-apocalyptic novels. Results would be mixed depending on a huge variety of localized conditions. And our nuclear forces and the ability to communicate with them would survive just fine, all ready to obliterate any country that launched an EMP attack.

A "number of countries" are willing to supply Iran with nuclear warheads directly. What is that number? One, two?
Well, if this were an Perry Mason or Nero Wolfe story, we'd have all the characters in one room, those who actually plausibly HAVE nuclear weapons:
Russia
United States
China
France
United Kingdom
Pakistan
India
Israel
North Korea
Now, in Perry Mason the bad actor is always someone you don't expect. But this is real life. Let's strike Israel, United States, UK, and France off of the list for starters.
That leaves us with
Russia, Red China, Pakistan, India, North Korea.
India is saving theirs for Pakistan, and maybe defensively against Red China. Pakistan is mostly concerned with India. Pakistan can get materials over to Iran by a land route, but they are and will be closely watched.
Pakistan's relationship with the U.S. is pragmatic, and stands to lose a lot if they are plating games. AT worst, bad actors within Pakistan might try to sneak one out, but they could have done that before.
North Korea doesn't have any to spare, and they wouldn't act without Russia or Red China's blessing.
That leaves Russia and China. Well, shucks, if they want to get at us, they will use their own stockpile directly. If they want to go after Israel, it is highly likely that Israel will meet force with force, and any nukes coming from Iran will be met with a much greater reaction, and Iran does not have an Iron Dome.
This is posturing and bluster.

Results would be mixed depending on a huge variety of localized conditions. The real threat is not to computers but to variable frequency drives to be found on nearly every industrial motor. We should be stocking a strategic reserve of VFDs as a matter of national defense.

Well, I’m tempted to say these unnamed players are Harry and Meghan Markle. There’s no proof they have nukes, but I wouldn’t put anything past Meghan.
