Appeal to authority.
I did have to look because some people say that cannot be measured, but there are apparently different tests that have different ceilings.
Calling B.S. on the 267 “I.Q. score”, regardless of his faith.
I grew up Catholic and went to parochial schools for several years, and they called it the “Holy Ghost” but...that was a long time ago now, so I could simply be dating myself!
> Never figured out the Holy Ghost thing. <
It is not an easy concept. But for me, it’s best understood in the gospel of Matthew:
3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptized [by John] , he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.
3:17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
——-
What is that “Spirit of God”? It is not the Son. And it is not God, who is in Heaven. So it must be a third divine presence of God, whom some call Holy Ghost.
By the way, some call that third presence of God the Holy Spirit. That is, I think, a much more representative name.
Well, that’s because Jesus Christ is God. But I only say that because He himself declared that, and all the prophecies confirm that. I can only acknowledge that truth.
“… overwhelmed with skepticism and cynical expectations about their fellow men….”
Just think of the most average IQ person you know. Then remember half the people are dumber than that person.
His intelligence has been confirmed by clinical neuroscientists from Yale University, and he was named the #1 highest IQ in the world by CNN, CNBC, Newsweek, and Reader’s Digest," says a press release.Well, that certainly confirms it. /eyeroll
I agree with him about Jesus, though.
Anything over 140 requires more than just the usual standardized IQ tests. They can get kind of specific as to computational speed, memory retention, etc... There futher out on either edge of the Bell Curve you are... the less the tests apply.
Yes, God is God is Jesus is the Holy Spirit is God is Jesus ...
Lol!

Not Quite:
Never figured out the Holy Ghost thing.
That’s the spirit, or soul. Father (God), Jesus (Son, Human), and Holy Ghost (Soul, Spirit).
Does that help?

Someone who claimed to be the Jewish Messiah in fact wasn't, and his adherents, particularly one who hadn't known him at all, twisted logic into pretzels trying to reconcile the fact with what he wanted to believe, in the process creating a new religion that became very popular in an age where the old gods no longer sufficed. That's how I perceive it.
greek thought posited 4 elements: earth air fire water.
Modern Einstein simplified it still further to just energy and matter.
The new thing of our age is information. But that’s essentially what jesus is.
He is the logos. Or as John put it...in the beginning was the Word.
That clarifies the epistemological question that arises from Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God.
The epistemolotical question posed by Genesis 1: 1 is this.
How do you know what you know?
Answer:
You know words.
Jesus is the word made flesh.
What a silly article. There is no correlation between IQ and religious belief.
