This WoD/Pain Meds is STUPID ABSURD !!! Because of street junkies/addicts and a bunch of whiny people who don’t and won’t GROW UP and be RESPONSIBLE has made life for real people in chronic pain to get the Meds needed to help them live with a little better quality of life.

Because of these street junkies/addicts it’s very difficult and time consuming to get Meds these days. I and many others have to play a game with pain clinics. Every month We have to go to the pain clinic, give urinalysis samples on demand, answer the same stupid questions and wait for not a doctor but a nurse practitioner to decide IF, WHAT KIND and THE QUANTITY of medication they prescribe. These pain clinics cost hundreds of dollars each month !!! They also like to ignore what the Patient says about the medication that does or doesn’t work for the Patient. Most of these NP’s seem to always put some new medication to see if it works and those meds can and usually are much more expensive than what the Patient knows will work. As an example Morphine Sulfate works best for Me and that was determined by the Doctor who had worked with Me for years until We finally figured it out. Then along comes these pain clinics and they take over by forced legislation and crap on the years of figuring out what worked best for Me and changed the Rx from the Morphine Sulfate ER Tablets that’s about $30 a month to some little square of some sort of alleged better drug that you put between your cheek and gums to dissolve and it COSTS $800.00 for a months supply !!! AND IT DOESN’T WORK !!! Plus the Insurance Company doesn’t want to pay for it because it so EXPENSIVE !!!

Now I’m going to say what I think will solve this street junkie/Addict issue.

The 1st arrest give them 1 chance for Rehabilitation at a Quality Program paid for by the Insurance Company. 2nd arrest SHOOT THEM !!! Bullets are cheaper than repeat arrests and bogus rehab. Soon the street junkie/addicts will be in the past.

Medicaid spending on young adults with drug abuse problems is significantly higher than for other Medicaid enrollees, particularly those with alcohol use disorder (AUD). Average Medicaid spending for enrollees with a substance use disorder (SUD) is about twice that of other enrollees. In 2018, the annual medical cost attributed to SUD diagnoses per affected enrollee was $15,640. Alcohol use disorder and opioid use disorder are the most costly SUDs.

this is typical BS, the health insurance pay for 14 to 28 days of treatments, treatment either works or it does not it up to the person to change.

Poor sob story by a pissed off mom who lost her son because he was a druggy..

Agree 100%. America's children are now born into a culture wherein Satan's tentacles are ubiquitous. Think about it.

Back in the day somebody wanting to view porn had to risk being seen buying girlie magazines.

Today's kids carry a computer that allows them to watch even the most depraved sexually degenerate material in the privacy of their own bedroom.

This is not pre-war Christian America anymore.
